anyone who runs anything other than way of earth knows shaman die as easily if not even more so than every other class without it.

just nerf way of earth in that way.

Unfortunately that’s not how the dev team operates.

They will nerf them out of existence per the usual and next week they will start to scream about nerfing the next thing.

As a mage I can even beat shamans 1v1 and am not one of the classes most overtly affected by how op way of Earth is in pvp but I still have to recognize it as way too strong for pvp because it just is

Have the rune only activate while shield mastery rune is active. Also, have it tied to Stoneskin Totem rather than Rockbiter Weapon.

That’s how the Only a Flesh Wound works for Rogue tanks. Rogue cannot tank without both runes because OaFW requires Blade Flurry to he applied and activate to work.

naw no real need to put extra steps just nerf the damage and put a threat increase or make it require a shield.

no need to put something as (hate to call it this but) janky as rogues have to deal with to tank.

Run WoE or just don’t bother with PvP because it doesn’t matter if you do a lot of damage…if you never make it to the opponent.

No Stuns, no Fears, no Stealth, no Charge… just intercept 1 spell and/or one physical attack and fall over. (Like Vanilla…)

Nah, not even close. WoE is just the most broken problem with Shaman. Elemental Mastery 1800 crits+ Overloads and instant chain lightnings wiping entire groups is too much power. Decoy Totem being a 20 second cd is too much power. Other classes need to be brought up to Shaman’s level, not nerf shaman imo.

ele shaman caves to melee pressure and is easily kick able.

the only shaman doing instant chain lightnings are malestrom weapon shamans who are melee and have no spell power to make it “wipe an entire group”.

decoy is fine and the buff can be dispelled by 1 of the 13000000000 priests running around unless you want to try and balance pvp on 1v1 which doesnt happen.

1597 AP in Scarlet Monestary Gear 12.7% crit, at least 10% hit from a rune, and hes literally never stepped one foot into a raid, what the actual hell, blizzard need to nerf this into the ground.

I don’t even use WoE and I still win every PvP engagement.

that ap value is only possible with dual rb and lots of ap gear along with beta buff and other things that the regular shaman doesnt have and if you run alpha you dont have decoy totem.

all of which is irrelevant to the point i have made on the op.

the only problem with shaman is way of earth shaman also able to do very good dps.

fix that and you fix shaman cause non way of earth shaman are quite balanced.

Well I mean if thats the reaction hes going for then its 100% warranted no class should be achieving this at 40 let alone one specific class in leveling blues due to runes.

They need massive nerfs.

No the 39% health and damage news times Down by 15% to put them inline with other tanks. No reason shamans tanning should be doing more dps than 75% of dps specs …
