I like the idea of player housing but let’s be real here wow has over 4 million subs.
Ff14 barely has 2.

Agreed.
How can GW2, ESO, and FF14 have player housing but WoW doesn’t? It’s got triple the budget of those games outside maybe ESO.
Yeah I’m not agreeing with the title. I’d love to see housing in the game. I’d love to see professions matter in the game.
But I’d also love to see the game feel like it wasn’t created by a small team of people who don’t even talk to each other. lol
But combat feels good, so that’s all that matters…
More content that I don’t like that could be used elsewhere.
Yes this is probably true I firmly believe that world of Warcraft needs to get rid of the phasing the sharding the whatever else they’re doing to make the world feel empty in final fantasy 14 you can go anywhere literally anywhere and there are people doing things in world of Warcraft I feel like I’m pretty much playing by myself all the time
I mean, there’s no real way to know how the community would behave under those circumstances. As others have said before, FF cities are always packed and quest nodes filled with players and housing is actual endgame in that MMO.
I have no particular interest in housing, and I’ve been playing FF14 for a couple of years but what I have to admit is that some players, specially the ones that are not interested in endgame raiding spend most of their time doing things to improve their virtual homes, at the same time, those casual players are enticed to help others via roulette instancing and other activities, so they are actively contributing to the community instead of just sitting alone inside an instanced box while giving them something to do, something to improve outside hardcore activities, something WoW should take note of considering how neglected their casual fan base is.
Garrison did give us a glimpse.
