The Next Allied Races (Wishlist)

I would definitely enjoy non-elves as the next allied races.
Specifically, have the living Vrykul (Northtrend), the Ice Trolls, Tuskarr, and Proto-dragons. I am a strong believer it is time to have a flying character developed and these could do the trick.

Your choices, please?

You had me at tuskar. Dragons would also be cool. Other than that I dont care as long as its not junker gnomes or sethrak. Which it probably will be.

Edit: I also really like the deep sea jinyu models. If we get those they would be pretty cool. If theyre alliance.

They only thing I care to see ATM are Sethrak.

Sethrak stand to be the most original race they can add so far. We don’t have playable lizards.

We have undead, elves, furries, aliens and short people.

But we don’t have lizards.

(Tuskar would be great as well).

Sethrax but we won’t get them cause they would prob go to the alliance…but blizzard hates alliance so we will get mechagnomes that no one wants! Thanks blizzards<3

Undead elves/ San’layn

Cat people (not the cutesy kind or the anime kind.) Like tigons (troll version of worgen) or saberon.

I’m holding off on hopes of High Elves until the next expansion, and I imagine San’layn would be paired with them

For now:
Alliance: Saberon, Dragons
Horde: Vulpera, Ogres

If a flying race is what you want, I would say Arakkoa have a better shot at being playable than dragons.

As for me, I’ll add my weekly plea for Hozen/Jinyu. Saberon and Botani would be cool too.

I want Naga with legs.

Especially so I can go back and do what will be old content (BFA), and hear the turtles always go “EXCEPT THE NAGA”

Vrykul and Vulpera are at the top of my list of new races.

I’d drop so much cash on race changes if Vrykul were made playable.

While I would not be opposed, and would absolutely love it…I feel like Naga would be something more post-BFA. Maybe even “early access for prepurchasing next expansion” sorta thing.

The same way void elves and highmountain were.

Maybe. I know their introducing them in 8.2, but i dont know when or if they will become playable. Either way the models look awesome. Its the only possible allied race Ive seen that Im actually excited about.

While I really want High Elves, i know other races need a chance at being a thing first.
So besides the oblivious High Elves I would say Vrykul For the Alliance and Vulpera for the Horde.

Ehh, I wouldn’t rule out dragons. In fact, I would say they are more likely, if for no other reason than they are less work to implement. Imagine it to like the Worgen, with separate humanoid / wolf…oid(?) forms. The humanoid models would be existing models (likely human/nelf/belf/velf models) so little to no work having to deal with making it work with armor/weapon models. Then the dragon form would be just like sandstone drake, except for existing black dragonflight models.

Re: High Elves. I know a lot of people want them in general, but I just don’t see why anybody would ask for them before something more unique? We have 4 playable elf models in the game now… do you really want a 5th, instead of some other unique race?
