The new UI is

Awesome. Love the extra 6,7,8 action bars.

Don’t listen to negative posters Blizz. Good job.

I’m having trouble getting some of the bars to align/snap properly. :dracthyr_sweat:

No, it’s very straightforward actually.

I had a good time yesterday setting it up.

I think its a huge step in the right direction, but I am surprised they launched pre-patch without being able to at least move the XP / Reputation bars and the micro-menu, much less not be able to resize them. I am on 1440P monitor and the micro menu is… micro lol. I use key short cuts for most of that anyway, but its just the principle of the thing.

I also wish they would let you disable the portrait on the player / target frames.

Would also be nice to be able to make the health bar class colors. I got a mod for this… but that seems like an easy option to bake in.

Also surprised they didnt seem to touch name plates… so I’m still using Plater for now.

Bonus points if they let us resize the text on the objective tracker or mini map. Like that calendar icon is unreadable.

That said I am going to try to give it a go with minimal other add-ons and ditch ElvUI… Right now just using a few of the usual suspects (Details!, Plater, Big Wigs / Little Wigs).

Great!! could use even a few more user able tweaks to shrink or resize groups nameplates ect but a step in right direction.

In my personal opinion, everyone has their right to their own opinions and thoughts on the new UI.

What I don’t get is, why people just don’t give it a chance. Blizzard been yelled at, trashed on, picked on, even hated on cause they don’t listen. Now that they do, they still get ripped on. Plus, if you been playing this game since day one, YOU KNOW that pre-patch is ALWAYS a hot mess. Blizzard already posted issues they know of and are working on them. Give them a chance to fix things or improve things, etc. Plus, they been saying for MONTHS the ui is a WORK in PROGRESS and probably will be the whole expansion. This is all new to them as well. Just got to be patient!

I used a addon that does pretty much what it does now.
It does take a little while to set up. But i do like it.

It’s a good start but I don’t know why they put in all these arbitrary limitations. I end up having to use bartender because the in house UI won’t let me customize how I like.

There are a few minor bugs here and there (such as debuffs not aligning as expected in their “growth” direction), but the new UI is otherwise an incredibly welcome (and necessary) change.

It has bugs and little nitpicks that need ironing out but as a whole it looks nice and clean

I like the new UI. People just don’t like change.
They pooped on the old UI and had 2983549 addons to fix it.
Addons still exist.

Can’t please 'em all.

Does the grid option to line them up help? Did for me. Especially since you can change the size of the grid boxes in the background.

It is only missing two things from Bartender that I can’t live without: click-through and bar transparency. :frowning: Otherwise it’s solid.
