I came here to post that the permissions still haven’t been fixed, but I haven’t logged into the game to see if that’s true or not. Does anyone think I needed to check first?
Yeah. That’s exactly what I thought, too.

Another day, another 24 hours of not having the permissions fixed. How surprising.
We will have to wait for bobby to leave in January before Phil lets people get back to doing their passion projects.
Help us Phil Spencer!
Trying to think of a creative way to ask that our granular permissions be restored, but my mind’s a blank. All I can come up with is stuff I’ve already said. Well, I guess there’s nothing wrong with repetition.
Fix the permissions, please.

No treats from Blizz for us today, but I can’t say I feel tricked since I wasn’t expecting anything. They’re like the house that always gives out breath mints instead of candy.
I wonder if the “stay tuned” update to people leaving in M+… is as reliable as the “a fix is on the way” that we got from Ion…
I like this line:
I think they realize Ion should never have said a fix was incoming, so now they make sure to use plenty of disclaimers.
Been traveling and not had much time to play. Just did some dungeons with my friends tonight. Nice and simple stuff that reminded me of why I enjoy this game.
Why do we have to do complicated work-arounds just to manage our guilds? Just separate the permissions. Give us check boxes. Do something to make it easier to run our guilds however we want.
According to the Icy Veins interview, we may finally see something.
That was listed as one of their interview highlights. Maybe they’ll give us the full interview later.

Added the question, and a link to this thread into the Q&A thread… to be ignored there too…
“How is the Communities project going?”
“We haven’t listened to a single complaint!”
“Great! Carry on.”
^This makes me feel good even though the pessimist in me says, “Yeah, right. I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Note the phrasing. They didn’t say they’d improve it. They said they’d focus on it.
In what I’m sure comes as a total surprise to everyone here… No mention of the 5+ year old pending fix in the Q&A.
I didn’t bother to watch. I hope they said something that made sitting through it worth the trouble for you.
Nope… typical softball questions were picked…this felt like one of those meetings that could have been an email at work.
“An this next one from a totally real guest…‘When you go to sleep on a bed of money at night, do you believe you’re loved by all players everywhere, or just respected for your genius?’”
