For my part, I feel like modern WoW has a major issue establishing any cohesive sense of identity. The individual races get completely lost under the umbrella of “Horde” or “Alliance”, and I feel like this only exacerbates the issue. It’s something that stands in stark contrast to Vanilla, where each race has a wholly distinctive culture, but in recent years, it feels like everyone just kind of acts the same.
It’s one of the reasons I’ve loved the Heritage armor sets. It really reminds you how interesting the race is beyond just “how they look”.
There’s no doubt; the new Forsaken items look freaking incredible! I just feel like maybe those should be exclusive to the Forsaken?
Agreed, but everyone wants access to everything in game regardless, so hope your prepared for the hater comments by ppl that think Mages should be able to use 2 handed swords etc
I mean I agree with you but this was achieved through quests, characters and zones. Not through the armor we earned in the game. We wore pretty much the same thing more or less depending on the race/body type 1 or 2 until we got to tier sets.
Don’t have a lot of issues with race locking stuff but they’d have to drip feed all of this if not most of the items would be locked. Besides the use of the forsaken on the weapons it isn’t all that related to the Forsaken. Even then you can RP that you got it off a forsaken or any other scourge based mob and are now using it.
remember the nightelf armor mog we had for 12 months of traders yea i dont want a repeat on how this should be exclusive to what race. i am happy we get more mogs for everyone then a select few
I do wish I enjoyed Retail. From time to time some of the art stuff they add are straight bangers.
I guess I’m on copium that once Classic+ starts in earnest they’ll bring some of those artists over and have them make more Classic style art. The BWL weapons they created for SoD were fantastic so they are able to go back and do Classic style art.
I’d nitpick and say since we hold and wear bows perpendicularly, please orient the face and roses so they are not on the horizontal axis. But I love that face leaking light! And the horses are fantastic.
It’s not what you wear, it’s HOW you wear it, look at me, I look fabulous, and will absolutely go from an 11 to a 13 with these TP armors next month or two.
This is something that has been burned into my brain since I was young and I wish more people realized this.
It’s almost funny how people go out of their way for sake of “being different” and “breaking stereotypes” that they just homogenize themselves into a group and become a stereotype.
If everyone gets a trophy, the trophy means nothing.
Glad I held off on most of the stuff in the current one. Picked up two weapons and the Rocket Chicken, felt about all I wantes. These here? Absolutely loving em
