It’s basically just Torghast, but for the lore characters. She got a bit further each time but could never actually win until the rescue showed up.

Your objectivity when it comes to debate has kind of gone out the window lately. Near as I can tell from what was gleaned thus far, it wasn’t a matter of testing, she just failed each time. Over and over. It’s the same aspect as Torghast, the player isn’t being ‘tested’ there, it’s literally out to kill us. In this case, Sylvanas wanted all the captured people to be imprisoned and suffer, as opposed to just offed. Them not being killed is plot armor, sure, but it applies to Thrall and Baine as well, same as Anduin.
I mean objectively, you’re right. However, objectively, “he’s testing her” is the reason we’re given. If she just repeatedly fails, what is he testing her for? It’s plot armor to keep her alive.
Yeah I agree. But it’s less offensive for Thrall and Baine, cause they get their bags packed as Jaina effortlessly saves the day. Thrall and Baine are shown as mortals, saved by the goddess, and Jaina’s a goddess who is every bit a threat to the Jailer by everything we’re repeatedly shown – but the Jailer is “just testing her.”
I miss rexxar, I feel like he could be so much better, they could let him Tame some Loa/wildgods and get their strengths like Varian was.

That sounds rad as hecc.
Not as a pet but as equals working together. Imagine Rexxar powered up by some Loa in the same way varian was or perhaps even powered by a few at the same time like some trolls were and smashing into an army of alliance with his axes. he has an army of their kin as his back tearing the alliance apart.
So many opportunities for him to visit places like Pandaria and meet the Celestials or the Loa on Zandalar. Meet the Wildgods in the Broken isle.
On that Note the should make Chen stormstout fully Horde and make him some Grandmaster close to where the emperor was at his peak as a monk.
Maybe they can get a good author to write about Rexxar, Chen and Rokkahn all going off some amazing adventure and gaining extra powers. Bring that old band together.

jeahhh…i know. But you know, that was the joke arround that device.
Better than some random human king who has no connection to Animals or met a wild god in his life becoming chosen by them.
Atleast Rexxar has a Kinship with animals and respects them. Not to mention he is Horde. A good novel where he meets a some wildgods and grow to understand the wild gods and gains a connection with them would be good. Not only because it would give the Horde a strong character but also Hunters a cool class hero.
