Which is basically like saying my opinion doesn’t count.
you know i get it. i really do. i understand the frustration. i moreso than many others know. just think about my 177 toons. now think about patch 5.3 now think that it was 9 years ago. so think again about how many nalak kills i must have. just think. then think about how many times i have been to the timeless isle on all these toons farming bonus rolls. well guess what. i am on isle of thunder each week killing nalak. i dont do every single toon anymore because i accepted the fact that there is a very high chance that i will never have nalaks mount. you see me on the forums whining? no. i will continue to kill him each week on however many toons i feel like it and that i have time for. what you will not see me doing is running to the forums crying about it.
and thats the problem with these threads and your posts. /dropsmic
Maybe you don’t whine on the forums, but is what you are doing on the forums actually any better than whining on the forums? (No.)
Enough people think that the drop rate for this mount is a problem, apparently even some Blizzard employees. Consider that you are the outlier here.

You know, I kinda agree. I’m tired of running alts through it. It makes me feel bad for wasting my day, every single time. Blizzard can just mail me a Valentine’s Day card in the mail once a day for two weeks, each with a chance.
Running this really makes me feel like I’m wasting time.

yes your right and if you scroll up you will see that a blizz post told you if you want to have a better chance at the mount then make more toons to get bonus kills. what he didnt say was continue whining here.
edit. the mount is not end game. it will change nothing. you dont get the mount and yay game over. its a mount there is nearly 1000 of them in game. some you will get some you wont. keep trying or give up
You are going to continue to struggle if you don’t choose to accept that you can’t control how other people use the forums. Hoping things work out for you. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Well good luck, keep going with the Devs design… others will provide feedback around any issue, at the end Devs decision is what matters, players already provided their feedback for both sides on this post and CC forums and the new Reward Dev came here to say something that we don’t know which will be the result.
I got the 4 mounts from MoP World Bosses and i keep doing post here for other players to get those mounts, yesterday i did a post that doesn’t change the “rare” value that you perceive but at least its a nice QoL, i suggested to change respawn from 15-20mins to a 5min respawn because my fellow collectors waste too much time there without fun gameplay instead of doing something fun.

I may’ve missed it, but where was it stated that Chimes is the new reward dev?
At least it seems that he’s relative new: "Hello! I’m Chimes, and I’m a systems and rewards designer. I’m pretty new to the team " “9.2 is my first big patch working on this game I’ve loved and played forever, and I’m excited to get to talk to fans with these fancy blue letters.”
And some days ago the lead dev reward left, idk how many reward specifically devs Team 2 has but at least this one is the only one in the community council forums.
But wouldn’t that mean only 1 of the accounts would get the mount or is there some way of transferring the mount to the rest of the accounts? Sounds expensive too.

If someone’s running 15 accounts, then they very likely have the money to transfer the toon that gets the rocket to whichever account they want to learn the mount on.
You can have 8 WoW accounts per battle.net account, and everything is shared (mounts/xmogs/battle pets/achievements/etc.) across those 8 WoW accounts under 1 battle.net account (so that’s 50 characters per account, so you can have 400 characters on one battle.net account). And if you look at dataforazeroth at the folks with the top alt scores (adds up all the levels of their toons), the top person has an alt score of 24,000. If those were all 60’s, that’s 400 60’s. I have 3 accounts, and a total of 119 characters across them. 76 are 50+, 23 are at 60. My alt score puts me in the top 30 on dataforazeroth (I don’t show up there, I have my characters locked down in a way that prevents dataforazeroth from linking my characters (it’s based on achievement points, I have all my characters set to only show their individual achievement points, not account wide)).
You don’t see a problem with any of this? Made 6 accounts and ran it over and over on 170 toons and you want it to stay that way?

I don’t see the issue. It’s like saying every person should only be able to buy 1 lottery ticket per day. If you want to buy 170 tickets daily, giving you 170 chances at winning vs 1, that’s your choice.

The helm is a very common drop. I got it multiple times every year I farmed that dungeon. If you haven’t been deleting it regularly you haven’t been running that dungeon nearly as many times as you think you have.
nope no problem with it. you know because i have it now. i didnt make 6 accounts for the big love rocket. i made 6 accounts for a thousand other things in the game as well and moreso for the refer a friend mounts that were included with the system which i have all of.
there is no problem with an item in the game being rare. having it rare is the incentive of doing it. and getting it is the prize. keeping it rare keeps it special. i know its annoying to run something a bunch of times but guess what i play the lottery irl to and i never win. but am i on the phone calling up the lotto headquarters whining that they increase my chances at the jackpot. so sad.

Hey, I have a crazy idea!
Why not extend the event through the end of February, and make the droprate something a bit more reasonable? surely your programmers and go into the tables and effect changes easily during maintenance. If you want this mount to be rare still, that’s cool but if it’s going to be more rare than everything else; Give 
us the entire month.

I dont have love rocket but it wouldn’t be fair to people who do have it who went to those extreme measures to get it and suddenly discover that everyone else can get it easier.
Oddly, this toon is the only one I ever had mounts drop on even though I made 7 others just for the pandaria mounts but ashes, horesman, rustfeather, astral cloud, silent glider, invincible, armored razzashi, both “clutch” mounts, felsteel annihilator, flametalon, hand of bah, hopecrusher, timereaver, ironhoof dest, mollie, mail munch, mimrion H, Onyxian D, Rajani W, Rusty Mech, Waste M, Ivory C, lil donkey, lifebinder HM, fallen C and TLPD all dropped for just this one toon. Still need one drake for awake the drakes achieve (shakes fist at Dragon Soul)

Sounds like just about everything else in the game. It wouldn’t be anything new at all. Or do you think Mecha-done’s nerf should be reverted?
