There’s limits, the game should be designed around a player with only 1 character as minimum, for a player like that 15 attempt per year implies 222 years to reach 3333 attempts and that player shouldn’t be pushed to toxic gameplay like doing 50 alts just to roll a dice or multiple accounts.
There’s limits and that’s why Devs during 9.1.5 changed Mechadone achievement and it’s still rare mount, the Players just adapted this idea of rarity from the old devs and now defend it, however that’s the problem that bring us to this point on which we’ve a ton of chores like Torghast because Devs get away with doing a mount farm like a chore each year for years.
That’s the good thing about players doing other games now and that every small problem is now perceived from Blizzard with Community Council and other feedback tools, so for example i wasted more that 8k attempts on Sha of Anger and I don’t want other players to face that same amount of time, So i’ll advocate for a daily lockout or some changes to keep it a bit rare but not that extreme process, just 15-20mins respawn time is too much for those world bosses.

He’s just a troll literally haha he mentioned doing like 4-6 accounts…just an account like mine with 50 characters for this farm reflect a toxic behaviour imposed by the Devs, so i’ve an idea that i can beat the odds while burning myself out.
I’m glad that now players are asking for improvements, even a mount drop reflects rewar philosophy design that impact all playerbase with chores like the rep for 9.2 that was changed and Torghast…etc, if we allow these toxic farms to exist, Devs will continue doing awful designs.

Based on some math that was done, if I have max number of alt characters to run this on, it still will take 8 years, IF you are lucky. Even if the math is wrong, it has never dropped yet, for me and many like me.

No, you can look over years and we keep doing post to move the limit to a good value for any player, from 1 character to multiple.
Did you really do this event? You can waste 2-5 mins on queue depending on the role for the dungeon + 10 instance lockout, even with multiple accounts you’ll face scenarios on which you’ve time to reply to a forum.
Prepare yourself because players trying other games will comeback with new ideas to improve those “rare” things that you like, go for the mage tower mount, gladiator for a seasonal and you won’t have a problem.
Also, the mount has 0.03% drop rate from Devs perspective but for players perspective this should have 3 levels of rarity:
Players that got it when you could reset instance, only 1 character needed.
LFG introduction and daily lockout, characters level 14+
Now minimum level changes every expansion, if you don’t get it you must level all your alts for next expansion, this is the worse, the current state force players to relevel alts.
I think we won’t see any blue response to this mount if they keep the first scenario when it was launched, however with 7.3.5 change, now you must level up alts again each expansion, it’s too much.
Don’t want to burn out trying to get it? Then don’t. It’s just a mount. It’s not game changing. You don’t NEED it.
Again, people want it so bad because it’s rare. I run for Ashe’s of Alar a couple of times a week. Sometimtes on multiple characters, sometimes I skip it. Same with Holiday stuff. Sometimes I just don’t feel like grinding for it. So I don’t. No one is forcing me to do it. I don’t NEED the mount to enjoy the game.
Make it easier to get… it’s not as rare. Then who gives a crap about it.
Well that’s your concept of rare, i just care about true rare mounts like Mechadone Meta Achievement, Mage Tower Mount, the current MVP 500 honor level mount…those are the rare mounts when talking abour rarity.

Try explaining this to someone you know who isn’t a WoW player. I feel like if I sat down with a therapist and told them I spent 2 weeks every year for 14years killing a boss in a game 50-100 times a day for a single virtual item they would want to commit me.
That’s why i never suggest anyone to try WoW, as collector i can tell them every detail wrong if they want some cosmetics and i saw different post from players that would like a pink transmog with this mount for example but it’s near impossible.
