The Lord Intended No Changes

I believe a streamer kicked off the dual spec begging and got their thousands of zoomer followers to spam reddit.

People have been floating the idea of dual spec since before 2019 classic was even out.

I know blaming streamers is the easiest way to try and get people to dislike something around here, but it’s not a new want.

The idea has never been popular. It was probably mentioned a handful of times in individiual comments but it was never a movement…
Never had numerous threads asking for it leading to 2019 launch. Or during 2019. Or during TBC.

In fact, it only became a popular idea after it was implemented in SoD.

Wrong.

At one point during TBC half the threads on these forums was specifically asking for Dual Spec. It had the attention of pretty much every person who actually uses the forums for during TBCC.

The Lord has allowed animals to mutate and evolve to make themselves better. WoW can too.

Sure thing bub…

You can believe me to be a liar, that’s fine, but you being wrong on both your take and your belief of me doesn’t change that Dual Spec was a highly request featured on these forums during TBCC.

I was literally in those threads arguing against it under the idea of #nochanges.

But stay wrong I guess, living in ignorance must be a coping mechanism for you.

You already have a game mode with #nochanges, play that.
Seriously, show blizzard its the wrong move by staying in the current classic era realms!

And SoD is still progressing through content, why not play that?

It’s a completely different game, all classes feel overpowered, levelling is not challenging at all, tank locks, tank rogues, tank shamans… healing mages…
If you really think the answer is “just play sod” there is obviously something really wrong with your reasoning.

See, thats what happens when people ask for changes.

Nah.

I’ll just play fresh today.

Okay.

You can either play on the original 2019 classic realms or play on private servers.

Agree on the third point. Layers are awful. But they seem to save blizzard the headache of having to merge more realms down the line.

my only want is for them to not destroy the experience with micro, or macro, transactions. Those killed Burning Crusade the first time out.

Other than that though I do kinda agree with your concerns. Chronoboon in itself isn’t a problem, that it reinforces the weird min/max mindset in a game that is not hard is.

Dual Spec maybe should only be activated in rest areas and instances.

Layering just has to be monitored.

You people intentionally dense or is this just natural?

One version is getting dual spec with no further changes regarding one’s class.

The other is specifically made with class changes in mind, raid changes in mind, gear changes in mind, and more.

Like they’re not comparable in this regard. “See this is what happens” no you’re just being stupid for the sake of it.

This isn’t classic. This is 20th anniversary realms built on the “skeleton” of classic. Want to play classic? We have era for that. If players main complaint is that they wanted a relaunch of classic, but on fresh servers, then I can sympathize with that. This is something completely different though

Era isnt no changes lol. How can you be so ignorant.

The world buff mindset was so ridiculous, The time I would waste getting the buffs was probably equal if not more to the time “saved” by killing bosses faster.

You must realise that even with the current changes, Anniversary Classic is nothing like the alternatives you offered.
No thanks
