The Lord Intended No Changes

I’m sure I said about raids.

Yes I’ve main tanked in classic and I’m a healer main in all of wow. The whole point of wow is to work together with friends to achieve goals. If you’re a healer in classic, you make dps friends to farm with you. Dual spec just promotes even more self gameplay, which is not what the game is designed for.

exactly, too much solo-friendly stuff ruins vanilla :expressionless:
will dual spec even cost 1000g? it should, but i doubt it. they will whine nonstop until it’s free.

What baffles me is why people would be so against Paladins getting a simple taunt. It. Doesn’t. Hurt. Anyone. getting so angry over a skill 90%+ of people dont even use. Lol

What? I dont understand why you dont just play SOD. This isnt an insult. Im serious. SOD has all the stuff you’re wanting.

We tried the #nochanges thing. It sucked majorly. The small percentage that enjoyed it isn’t worth catering to.

Where and when did we try no changes? 2019? Did we play the same game where they added layering and chronoboons? Or how about the fact that you cant poly mobs tagged by other friendlies?

Because we like classic and its content, and understand what was never completed. You dont have to like classic and its flaws to be a true classic lover. To minor stupid tiny inconsequential things that makes no difference, you want to keep monopolizing to the same boring 4 classes: warrior, priest, rogue, mage. What a bad take.

Why do i have to be no changes to like classic? Lol

Its not like im asking for huge overhauls, im asking for a taunt and like a little more efficient mana consumption for most classes that have this issue.

Im asking for a taunt, and more mana efficiency, and, and, and. Soon enough you’ll just get SOD. We like no changes because it preserves the essence of the game, incomplete or not.

Youre fear mongering. Theres no and and and and. Theres keeping true to vanilla and then theres adding monks and demon hunters. One makes sense and one doesn’t.

How is adding a pally taunt and whatever other nonsense your ignorant mind can come up with “keeping true to vanilla”. That makes literally no sense.

Yes. They added the chronoboons as a result of the minmax community going pants on head berserk over minmaxing basic raids like Molten Core. Nobody liked being on call to log in to get a buff, waiting on another raid to turn in before going on their own raid.

Layering was to prevent overcrowding/ghost towns, which again, was not fun for anyone outside of a select few who cannot let go that their nostalgia was real, but was and is also not reality.

#Nochanges sucked, we tried it. It’s a different world now.

Because its a spell u and like 95% of the community doesnt use, warriors STILL do it better they’re still top tanks but you’re ridiculous enough to want to not give them a simple taunt. Literal insanity

Saying that these two changes were necessary for x reason is proving my point. We’ve never had no changes. Seriously?

Yes we did. Before these were implemented. They weren’t in at launch.

The definition of insanity: keep true to vanilla! But also add x changes that I came up with!

It doesnt effect you or vanilla in any single way. Having one mob taunted to you, doesnt change anything its STILL VANILLA hur dur

Layering and the friendly tag change were in from the start.

Yes, being unable to get past starting zone for two hours is such a good vanilla time, why didn’t we let Blizz let us experience that again?

eyeroll

EDIT: No idea how or why I quoted that post.

How does giving a tank that already has superior aoe threat to warrior a taunt make any sense? Theres tradeoffs to this game. Thats one of the reasons the game is good. I raided all of classic where our 2nd tank was a prot paladin. The class is good at specific things already. If you want to buff classes and add abilities, seriously, why not just play SOD??
