The Legacy of Tyrhold: Alexstrasza suddenly doesn't exist?

Hello!

I was working on the Dragonflight campaign quests on my monk here and, after turning in The Gift of Silver, Alexstrasza decided to take some time off for the holidays. While I don’t blame her, I would like to at least accept this quest before her prolonged absence from the game.

Steps I’ve tried:

• Relogging (including entirely exiting out of the game).
• Zoning out from Valdrakken.
• Zoning out from Valdrakken and then exiting entirely from the game.
• Sacrificing a Klondike bar to my garbage disposal.
• Telepathic messaging.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I want to thank you for a smile and a chuckle.

Ehehe. I love your sense of humor here. :stuck_out_tongue:

That said, I’d double-check the rest of your quests; it’s possible that one or two may be phasing the area. Abandoning won’t help that, but completing them will.

Have you done the quests leading up to killing Raszageth in the raid on this character? If you picked that one up, she’ll remove herself until you complete those three quests. Caught me by surprise while turning in campaign quests on an alt and picking that one up prematurely.

Are you on that chain?

I’m… not sure, honestly. I’ve worked a lot this week and just can’t recall. I do have “To Tyrhold” to do, so I suppose I’ll try that next!

AH! After looking up the quest chain, it seems “To Tyrhold” actually leads to this quest. Gonna try and do these and see what happens.

Thanks for all the help, everyone! :+1:

Aye, and keep the rest of the Klondike bars for yourself!

… I’d love one, myself, tbh.

That is likely what is causing her to have phased out of the area. Please let us know if completing those quests returns her so you can turn in the quest. Confirmation should prove useful to others in the same situation.

I finished the quests right as soon as I received the notification for this post, and it certainly did work! Thanks for the help, folks!

(Apologies to Alexstrasza for taking time from her day, and to Klondike enthusiasts for my wastefulness. :grimacing:)
