I would take gilgoblin monks. But I still feel goblins need more tank specs. So I would appreciate the paladin reskin class or just monks. If one spec was all that was need for void elves to get priests, I don’t see why that can’t apply to other races. Brewmaster monks make sense imo.
Although I disagree about outright having goblin paladins and land goblin monks I wouldn’t really take an issue with it. Its just one of those things that if given the choice I might not do it.

Rezan directly is the source of the Zandalari paladins but I’ve never seen anything suggesting that Akunda actually has connections to it.
Is it just that some of his followers have a holy spell or two or is there more?
Kelfin in general don’t seem like a paladin race to me… though I love paladins so I wouldn’t balk…
I do like the idea of Bioluminescence for Kelfin in general.
Thats kinda my take on that whole thing too with the goblins gnomes and mechagnomes anyways.

Many of Akunda’s associated spells have holy and or nature damage themes. The magics tend to be holy based damage.
Boon of Akunda - Attacks and Heals have a chance to cast Holystorm
Effect cannot happen more than once per 1min.
Holystorm
Spread Holystorm energy to target and chaining to nearby targets, healing allies or damaging enemies.
He mostly uses nature magic, but has some holy magic. The paladins also have a set from Throne of Thunder. So they can expand the thunder holy paladin themes since they have a few precedents in-game. Since Akunda is a loa like Rezan that can use holy magic, it would stand to reason there can be more loa like that. Since we have seen loa that have ties to nature and shadow, and nature and death (bwonsamdi). So I think it would be cool to have some holy loa in the deep sea via some bioluminescent sea creatures.

The Kelfin would be a wonderful addition to the Horde.
They also are an example of a race that doesn’t work well as customization alone. They need their own racials and flavor.

Some voice lines are being removed. I don’t think it has much impact on this thread though since I believe kelfin voice lines would be pretty sfw. Just by the nature of them.

Think Kelfin are my third most wanted race behind Sethrak and Saurok.

I don’t expect any news on kelfin if at all till next expansion since goblins already got custom options earlier on, but I will check in 9.1.5 If new the gilblin npcs have changed in any way.
I’d imagine, per Blizz, that we wont be getting anything for any other races than the LFD Nightborne and Void Elves this round.
However I’d bet in 9.2/9.2.5 they’ll move onto some of the other AR’s then come 9.3 or 10.0 hit up some if not all of the core races again.
Still though I’d hope Kelfin end up an AR myself not just customization.
