The jump between 11s and 12s is very unenjoyable

i am timing 12s but it takes forever to get into 12s

some people only invite prot paladin tanks to time their 12s

the leap between 11s and 12s doesnt help people learn to play the real keys

creates a toxic environment for everyone not playing a meta class

it is too late in the season to really change anything but in future seasons a more linear difficulty gradient from 11s to 12s would be better if u want people to not hate this game because 11s are mindless easy and 12s are too sweaty

the absence of some midrange keys is the real issue

I mean mid-high keys are just a reroll angle, yeah.

You’re above the rewards level. You’ve passed mid-range.

So if they made 12s easier, like delete Xal’atah affix, what makes it so that you won’t be replacing your title with 13?

“The wall” tends to exist because balance isn’t perfect, and usually a comp rises to the top.

It’s funny because there is a lot of bad ppallies especially new ones who rerolled to be meta and try to pull like their in the mdi.

the hardest part of timing 12s should not be being able to que into a 12

You also have 2 keys not done on 11. So it’s partially self-inflicted issue.

It’s hard at first to get into 12s even if you’re meta.

k just my 2c. im fine with season as it is for now but the leap from 11s to 12s makes them a bit too exclusionary and the tension it creates makes people do funny stuff quite a bit. lost count of the number of body pulls from dps ive seen the past couple weeks.

My last 2 failed ones was due to a ppally lol.

Based on the interviews they are aware that M+ scales way too fast.

2-6 scale too slowly imo. 7s a big jump but again 8 and 9 don’t change much either. 10s another big jump and then 12 is a freaking cliff.

It makes the entire system not fun.

Rewards =/= Difficulty

It’s push keys

The rewards stop at +10s

There’s gonna be a wall somewhere, be it 12s, 14s, 18s, 25s

while i agree that everyone will eventually hit a wall. the jump into a 12 is significant compared to an 11 i would like to see them smooth out that spike a bit. like maybe make the affix ramp up slowly over a few key levels rather than boom here it is.

except all those walls are small jumps in the past until you cant get over it. now its a cliff that people are expected to climb. its probably one of the highest jumps in difficulty for m+ that ive seen. would be nice to see them smooth that out a bit

Why

It’s better if there’s fewer key levels instead of a bunch of identical fluff ones

Why? There’s never been a wall before

Yeah, everybody just keeps clearing keys forever :dracthyr_a1:

People prefer linear progression is the point, which obviously you knew you’re just trying to be smart

So they reach 13, a week later maybe, and post again about the wall?
