This would imply that Sylvanas is doing something that isn’t of self interest.
Which is a blatant lie, and we all know it.
I think this is all going to follow the Hades and Zeus storyline. But that doesn’t lead to the true enemy of all of WOW.
The Dice I threw into the Malistrom years ago, will return to claim us all!!!
I have spoken.
The titans had nothing to do with it the shadow lands existed before they did. And Odin gave up an eye to the jailer so he could see who was worthy to become titanforged. IDK where you got this info from but its way off the deep end.
Do you feel better now that you got that off your chest, chief? This thread is how old??
And you’re just now responding?
Oh dear god. I didn’t want to but all of this fake news has forced my hand. Here’s the 411, straight from Đeathwing’s secret archives. The truth of the matter is that the Jailer is the Old God corrupted Terenas Menethil who’s come back from the dead to eat us all with his Insane Clown Posse.
You all thought Arthas’ references to “The King”, and his rock and roll number were bad enough, but no. His father is going to outdo them all, just like Garrosh was out done by AU Grom. This is why Blizzard made a Mozart Piracy ending to the Blizzcon Textual Experience. It was foreshadowing.
…At the end of the expansion Terenas gain fabulous secret powers on the day he holds aloft his sword and says “By the Power of Greybeard, The Shadowlands are Free!” He’ll then point his sword at Sylvanas who will fall madly in love with him and become his companion. Why? Because he’s a Male-human Paladin and he needs a High Elf girlfriend.
He and Sylvanas are inspired by their newfound love for one another and decide to test themselves against the forces of N’zoth that remain on the sea. Their low speed pursuits of anchored liners, set to live classical music, and accompanied by Nathanos biting wit so terrify their targets that they abandon ship before Terenas and Sylvanas arrive.
In time, Zombie Terenas becomes so central to anima privateering that Oribos produces a television documentary. Unfortunately said accounts barely mention Nathanos, and instead refer to him exclusively as “Mr. T’s sidekick”. Sylvanas pitied the fool.
There now you all know the legit ending to Shadowlands. Your welcome.
I really would not be surprised if this happens to be true.
The Jailer is a Ghost confirmed!
This is quite unfair due to Warlocks, Shadow Priest, Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Rogues are the only classes that can eat Ghosts, if they wish to add food as an expansion climatic boss next expansion they should have added a cherry cheese cake as a big bad for everyone to eat.
Or perhaps German Chocolate cake as the next expansion’s big bad.
elune=jailor
Epic transmog! 10/10
I love speculation. I think the jailer looks like Queen Azshara in King form. just less a tail and more ghosty feet.
They make Elune a bad entity and I really will end up with anything NE related, because that’d just be like a final nail in the coffin.
The image of the Jailer that was posted on social media is literally Sargeras with a blue beard and druid kit armor.
Elune as the jailor makes sense. Just as much sense as about anything else at this point. I have never thought the Titans were our friends. If you played in the Dwarf lands at low levels (at least pre-cata) you are very clearly warned by a titan (or something titan-like) that learning too much about your past may put an end to your future.
So, maybe Elune is the jailor. And maybe the Titans did all die a long, long time ago. And maybe the spirits of the Titans were jailed. And we are the Titans reborn. That explains why we are special and can’t really die.
eeeeyah, nope, nope, nope. move along…
I wasn’t suggesting Elune was the Jailer but that she’d be possessed by the Jailer for arrogantly thinking she could control his power.
Of course there is another possibility: That the Jailer(who according to Danuser wasn’t always part of the Shadowlands) was containing the Voidmother(a Void God Prime who as a Naaru Prime birthed Xe’ra) and when he got inevitably corrupted Elune stepped up and since she was a Death Entity she was for the most part much more resilient than the Jailer.
“The fall of night will reveal the her true face… She will bring only ruin…” “Look upon the true face of Death and know that your end comes soon!” Elune will be captured and the freed Voidmother(released from the prison of reality) will become Death and reveal her true face.
He EATS souls. There’s nothing GOOD about an entity that eats and thus destroys souls.
For that fact alone, I don’t believe he’s good. We’re just being hoodwinked. Remember the burning of Teldrasil, “It’s not what you think!”
It was exactly what we thought.
So even if it was leaked and the leak is genuine, I don’t believe for a moment that he’s good.
Besides, the Devil is often cast as a very charming and suave gentleman.
Think of it this way. Ion love greek mythology right ? Then this could only mean one thing. The jailer is Kronos.
The history of Azeroths as we know it, through official lore, extends beyond the creation of life on the planet. The shadow lands house those that have passed on. You cant have ghost without living things dying. This puts the creation of the Shadowlands around the seeding of life by the Keepers. So the jailer is probably someone we already know about, or is alluded to.
I liked the old concept for the Jailer better.
It looked like there would be a Zeus/Hades kinda dynamic since he looked like a regular titan.
