It’s absolutely ironic that people are having issues about people moving off of imbalanced servers elsewhere.
Where were your concerns when people were getting trolled for trying to quest and asked for solutions for the imbalances then?

Yes nobody wants balance and the paid transfers will just make it worse.
Each of those players deserves to jump ship off of imbalanced servers. I’m curious how many more ‘Flamelash’ situations will occur now.
Way I see it. People who transfered scrolled over the people who stayed. The people who stayed and can afford transfers now scrolled over the people can’t afford transfers. After all this people will still wonder why balance is so bad.

I would like to see 2 imbalanced servers get merged as they did with smaller servers on retail a while ago. Since Classic isnt as messy as retail with achievements and such this would be a cool idea. Though it would create massive servers. But with server transfers this could make some of the dominate faction also switch. I would bet this is an idea they have and they want to see if servers get more balance of players before they decide what to do.
I mean, I enjoy it. Those who aren’t happy are the ones who want to camp people for HK’s.
They’d have to give incentive to guide people that way. Maybe an XP buff for X time.
But the transfers are deserved and anyone thinking people should remain somewhere they don’t enjoy is just wrong (not you, in general)

No, some of us are on balanced servers and enjoy their communities, and are afraid that their servers are about to get overrun and made imbalanced by transfers
The only realistic way to improve faction imbalance is to actually given incentives for people rolling the underdog faction (say beyond a 55-45 split).
Since there are too many #nochange people, that isn’t going to happen. So anyone on a 60/40 or worse server will eventually end up being a 1 faction server, just like retail.
sucks that everyone has “I ONLY WANT to dominate” in mind as appose to just playing the game. Classic wasnt really made for how many players we have on servers and with even small imbalance becomes way bigger the more people you shove into a server. I think the main issue we have is too many people per server not that faction A is better. The issue with balance is a problem but it was brought up by server numbers (i am not saying faction imbalance isnt a current problem).
That is definitely a huge concern, sure, but hopefully people are moving toward areas that need them (hopeful), but at least if people are seeking your server that might mean something good right?
A lot of the ‘balance’ would have to come from Blizz in implementing faction caps. Only way possible.
It means we have a good, balanced community. AS IS. And people know that. A lot of people.

I don’t think people are going to pay 25$ en mass just to destroy ONE community/server.
I think most people will go toward either lower/med pop servers where they know there’s balance or they will go toward servers that are terribly imbalanced already.
People are going to go to the destinations they feel are best. Its already proven most want to be on high/full pop servers.

With the intention of destroying it? No. But it should not be allowed to transfer off/to on any server that has a balance of 45/55 or better.
It’s just another cash grab for people looking for greener pastures. It doesn’t fix the imbalances… it’s similar to CRBGs being released. Bandaids to a gushing wound. But don’t forget! #NoChanges everyone!

I’m not hoping for it, but if people see that they can escape a situation they don’t want to be in, no problem dropping $25.
If anything it’s going to make them worse with people looking for better balance elsewhere.
Only if there was a company who made the game who would oversee this movement and lock servers once they got too far out of balance…
