I’m cool with it. The more aggressively people farm, and the more items are on the AH, the price will continue to drop. I’m totally cool with things becoming insanely cheap.
WTF is aggressive farming?
Things are being picked instantly, it’s not like we can make them grow better.
It’s a massive choke point.
Buzz words
Often all the suggestion reveals is the person’s complete ignorance of the actual problem. Those who experience the problem and understand know the suggestion is ridiculous. And then we’re supposed to treat it with respect?
I get a good amount of Terocone while farming primal life at the bog lord hyper spawn spot. Herb ‘skinning’ produces a terocone with some regularity.
Hard core farming soung better? lol.
And you fail to see the point i made. yea there are layers but a server with lets say 10k ppl on it is still not the same as a server with 3k ppl on it. While your layer thing is right, the problem is that a server with 10k ppl will never have a “downtime” in terms of ppl logging off
A server with 3k ppl on it will not have 3k ppl on it 24/7, so the resources there are still more readily available than a server where 10k ppl are on it, because the chance is pretty good that layer 1 will never see less than 3k, any given time of day.
If some dude logs out of layer 1, hes gonna be replaced by the next one in a few second. A smaller server with a general smaller pop is a lot more relaxed and less prone to being constantly overfarmed.
Not to mention that OP also mentioned that it affects the server in other ways. I know you like to be right but go ahead, check the prices for materials on a server like whitemane or faerlina and then compare said prices on a server like DD.
They let bots farm the herbs and move them to different servers. But they don’t let people buy gold for their epic flying.
i remember the first few weeks of the expansion when mana thistle was 4-6g each. now theyre 14g each on my realm.
I was right. You don’t understand.
Dude herbs are everywhere. No one is camping the spawns. This is a legit schizo thread
I agree! Mats should instant spawn. No way we should have to move from a node and there should be tens of thousands of nodes per zone.
Make all mobs drop one of every crafting resource. Make mobs instant respawns too!
Oh no… prices changed….
You’re 62. You can’t even get to where mana thistle is.
If enough people are farming herbs why not just dungeon and then buy herbs with the loot you get? It looks like you’re complaining about your server having a better economy =x
In the original TBC, if you routed around all the herb spawn location in Terokkar, you were pretty much guaranteed at least 10 cones, usually a full stack!
Now, you are lucky to find one.
Something is broken here and needs to be fixed sooner than later!
Why not implement something like dynamic spawn, so that there is always a certain number of herbs up in any zone regardless of how many are picked? Or port the bots who are camping the thistle spawn locations to the other side of the world if they haven’t moved around for a certain amount of time?
Good Christ. How does it possibly make sense that someone who herbs should have to buy their herbs because they can’t farm them? Wouldn’t it make more sense to have the herb spawns directly correspond to the population?
What a wacky idea!
Because having an infinite number of resources breaks economies, you dolt. You chose an in demand profession. You wait. Just like the horde in the queues. You wait. This game is not about getting everything you want when you want it. Zoomers please go back to retail. This game is not for you. I know you have to swallow some pride to play the “casual” version of the game but you literally can’t handle this version. Herbalism is not broken. You are just entitled
fixed that for you
