No they aren’t. You aren’t the only one farming a lot, either. They aren’t faster and there aren’t more of them.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t report bots. But after a week of reporting, I kinda’ give up.
This is pretty much made up. Blizzard will never tell you any action they’ve taken against another player. They automatically respond to your bot report (yes, with a bot) but the report is still in a queue. It’s not uncommon to see the same bot for weeks at a time.
Comon now … “Blizzard will never tell you any action they’ve taken” …yet the message read :
Thank you for reporting someone for cheating or exploiting in the game.
Your recent reports led to actions against one or more players and accounts. We can’t provide any details, but your reports make World of Warcraft more fair and friendly for everyone. We hope you’ll continue to make similar reports in the future.
Stay the course and thank you again for helping us make Azeroth a better place.
There are no secret farming spots. Everyone who herbs knows where every single spawn is. I’m glad you found your Terocone, but saying, “Just go here because no one else will” is kind of silly.
Anyway that’s all gaslighting. The problem is the population to herb ratio. This is something Blizzard needs to address.
All I have to say is the people who herb on your server must be incredibly stupid.
I gave u alternatives take it or leave it. Basically what I am saying this sounds like a you problem. Also I’m not a herbalist I just know where other spawn points are. Whether the people that herb are stupid or not really has nothing to do with this conversation.
I’m always amazed on how people who play alliance love to generalize and group others together because they don’t like a suggestion or response they get.
Yeah, it’s an AUTOMATED message and they tell you they can’t provide details - meaning the “action” is nothing more than being put into a queue to be investigated. Go check that bot again sometime after getting a canned response from Blizzard.
No you didn’t, because saying to go where the farmers aren’t is incredibly ignorant. There is nowhere to go where there aren’t farmers. There are no secret farming spots.
Do you understand math? Do you understand what putting 5X the population on a server and NOT adjusting herb spawns actually means?
It doesn’t matter if it’s 10% they have a responsibility to the players. I transferred to my current server when it was “medium”. It is now full teetering on mega 18 months later. I’m not paying to transfer all my toons again and leave the people I have been playing with for over a year. I would just cancel my account before I did that.
No one is going to raids without consumables. Therefore there doesn’t appear to be a shortage of herbs. If you boost up the spawns, herbs will be worth nothing.
Do you want a gathering profession you can make money off of throughout the entire expansion? Because I do.
Please tell me a time when you had a week to get consumables and there were absolutely no consumables due to lack of herbs.
To compensate for the bloated population? Do you really have to ask?
Herbs and ores were designed for a specific population. That population no longer exists.
It’s math. Maybe you wouldn’t understand.
I farmed for over an hour and a half this morning. I got two terocone. Two. Not two spawns, just two individual terocones, and someone immediately tried to ninja.
I get that you don’t mind botting or camping mana thistle 24/7 so you can sell them for 15gs a pop, but that’s not the way the game was designed.
…you could complete this sentence with just about anything concerning meta strategies and efficiencies and it would be accurate. Even the most committed farmers back in the day were not as hyper specialized and efficient as the farmers of today, and how those methods propagated have dramatically changed now.
Back then I’d have to crawl a lot of forums and a lot of sources to maybe find a semi-detailed explanation without any videos or pictures or anything.
Now? If I want to solo farm an instance I just need to go to YouTube and type in “TBC druid solo dungeon” and voila, I’ll find a dozen or more guides.
No. I get maybe half as many “thank you” letters as I do reports.
