Stormwind is really looking stale when you compare it to Kul Tiras and the Arathi Tribe (from what we’ve seen thus far). I’d like to see Stormwind get more flavor. Stromgarde though i would like to see more focus. It certainly deserves it and i think there’s a lot of potential there.
As for the Lordaeron survivors, i think they need to finally give them some kind of resolution. And they don’t even need to retake Undercity to have that resolution. I’ve been saying for years they just need a city or enclave somewhere to be their continuation and representation. That city or enclave could even just be in Stormwind’s lands somewhere. Or you could have it in Lordaeron given that there’s more to Lordaeron than just Undercity. Tyr’s Hand would be an ideal choice up north.
There’s also Menethil Harbor and Theramore. Menethil is literally named after Lordaeron’s last dynasty and could serve as their capitol. Theramore was founded by Lordaeronian survivors and should have been rebuilt years ago. Either way, there’s plenty of places for them to have a territory and be represented.
I think the same should be done for the Alteracians. Regardless of which faction or 3rd party controls Alterac, i think having a group of them in the Alliance affairs would be nice. You even have a few leadership options. Lord Ravenholdt or even bringing in Isiden Perenolde.
I wouldn’t mind if Stormwind had a mini makeover. I really wish we had gotten more districts with various racial flare. Like maybe expand the Pandaren camp and have it become a full blown temple/school. Add a Kalimdor district for the worgens/night elves/dreanei.
That does not actually answer my question, and it’s not even true. Quel’thalas (the parts that are not blighted), Mulgore, the Southfury River, all seem like pretty good land.
And Alliance has some land that has proven difficult to utilize, like the Wetlands or Westfall.
I would love to see the Argent Crusade moving into the Ghostlands and pretty much replace the Forsaken there. This branch of the Crusade should be mostly dominated by Bloodelves but some Forsaken, as part of the Crusade could be there as well.
The rest I get, even if I disagree, but the ghost snd slime infested swamp surrounded by difficult to traverse mountains is your standard for cushy living? Really?
The Barrens and Durotar are well suited as places to hunt game, and for ranching. Which is what the Orcs seem to prefer to farming. They are certainly not lacking in resources.
Anyway, this would be a salient point if the Orcs had been trying to expand into places with arable farmland that the Alliance controlled, but they never did. Their main concern was expanding into Ashenvale for the purposes of gathering lumber, which they then used for building structures and weapons of war.
So it’s not like they don’t have it. We are also never explicitly shown agricultural settings outside of humans for aesthetic purposes, but it’s not like these things don’t exist.
There’s really no precedence to assume that ‘Orcs prefer hunting over farming’.
Honestly though, Blizzard has never taken any interest in showing or explaining these kinds of logistics (they’re boring to regular viewers anyway, so there’s really no point in it).
We know that post war the Alliance retook Southern Hillsbrad and Southshore is being rebuilt. If I was a betting man for Midnight. That will be where the survivors of Lordaeron will gather that are Alliance aligned. They would likely be lead by Magistrate Henry Maleb. I would bet that the Worgen of Hillsbrad will be busy rebuilding their kingdom and along side them all the humans who fled South.
