The one Void Elf rp concept I came up with was basically that they were tricked into siding with the Alliance, but because they grew up around the Horde, they learned about the value of honor and keeping promises. So, they honor the letter of the agreement if not the spirit of it. All the while they look forward to the day they can return to see their old friends and family.

Oh no, I am very certain of it. They and the high elves are just too much, and we do not need them in the Elf faction.
If they really need love, they can find it as members of the Horde. Yes, high elf and maldraxxelf shall be Horde-only races in the three faction future.

If Blizz revists Altarec again, I’d like for the storyline to be an expanded, more satisfying version of the Syndicate vs Ravenholdt conflict. With the option for players choose either side and fight each other based on it. A gang war between shadowy organizations trying to control a newly rebuilt city of thieves.
And cosmetic bandana masks for all!

Definitely agree with the stuff about the light being totally bad! And whatever hamfisted light side facism they try to push is totally eye rolling. That being said, I do think the idea of the scarlet brotherhood making first contact with the perhaps naive Arathi and basically poisoning the well and making them against the Horde and Alliance is a neat concept to me tbh.
The aggression is a two way street, the trolls are not poor oppressed innocent victims and in universe would never EVER consider themselves to be. The whole “we were here first the land belongs to us” isn’t an ideology that anyone in universe actually subscribes to.
