Their punishment is being forced to associate their characters with a Warchief like Sylvanas. We Alliance know full well if any our characters committed genocide on an innocent population, we’d likely hate it. Horde lost Saurfang, forsaken fans have lost Sylvanas to the complete villain bat which means she’s destined for death, and let’s not forget Undercity is in ruins. I definitely don’t think Horde came out feeling like winners here. Both factions need to realize they both lost a lot.

All Ima say here is if Tyrande or Genn start trying to break up the new alliance between both factions Im gonna be pissed. If that happens imo that will straight up nullify a large portion of this expacs progression

Honestly the faction war should just stop for a few expacs. It needs to be pushed aside for other cooler things they can do. Especially when at this point literally 99.9% of Azeroth is fed up with the constant war

Ok so because other people spam, nobody can report spam thread.
Those rule were not forgotten when horde made some spamming thread. The alliance have been spamming way more with allied race,high elf, horse mount, warmode, cgi cinematic warfront,etc.
And i’ve flag most of them excluding the official high elf thread since he was the legit one.
I’ve also flag horde spamming thread like the bee mount one or the camping in flypath in warmode.
Rule are there for a reason and the flag button is there to be use. So yes we have the right to decide that a spamming thread should be reported. You on the other hand dont have the right to decide that people should be able to go against the rule without being reported.
Thats what we are doing by use the flag system. The system is made by the mod to help the mods. They dont have time to read every single thread. They only pay attention to thread flagged.
Sylvanas won’t die, I can assure you that.
It’s only blighted and the forsaken can remove their own blight, they are also likely going back there in 8.3.

Horde players have been complaining about the story since the prepatch at least. Or maybe you’ve missed all the “MoP 2.0” complaints.
Horde complains constantly about blizz playing musical chairs with the Warchiefs. Where has that gotten us? Instead of losing a warchief every other xpac we lost a warcheif and 2 horde leaders were killed off, the warchief gave the whole faction the bird and flew off, and the trade prince is going to be waddling off into some dark corner. So 4 races have lost their leader this xpac.

Idk, to me she seems to be tit for tat down the path of Garrosh. Becomes Warchief, leads Horde down a dark path causing a rebellion, now is on the run and missing. All that’s left is for her is to seek help from an outside source and become minion fodder for the next big baddie she serves.
The really odd part is we just came from an insanely alliance heavy xpac where they got special quests and the focus for the last half of the expansion.

The thing is the writers are setting her up for some really stupid redemption. She and Nathanos are their absolute favorites and there is no way they’re going to let her die.
I will absolutely hate it but it’s almost a guaranteed at this point
They are not suggesting the players be punished but the story includes some kind of punishment for the faction. At the very freaking least Andiun should demand that Horde forces withdraw from NE lands. Split the WF out into a different phase and remodel the area with the NEs and Worgen rebuilding settlements.

There really hasn’t been any evidence she’ll get redemption. She has been treated as a villain this entire expansion and has shown no redeeming qualities. She also just got done saying the Horde is nothing, killing Saurfang who was very obviously on the side of good, and then revealing she lead Horde into Nazjatar just to have them killed so she could acquire more dead bodies. She even admits she wants to kill hope. There’s pretty much nothing at this point that suggests she’ll ever be redeemed, she’s pretty much stapled for death just like Garrosh.
That’d be boring. I’d like for Night Elves to get Nordrassil especially now that Ysera is gone, and for Gilneas to be made into an actual city. But I also don’t want Horde to get UC back. Why go back to the way things were? Lets evolve this game.
And to the answer of the OP: If you were to heavily hurt one faction, the game wouldn’t succeed. No one wants to play on an always losing faction, so they’d either all go Alliance (no PvP) or the game would die out. Theres always gotta be balance which is why I don’t like war stories in this game. They never seem to get them right.
