Hahahaha, silly elf. Warsong strong.
elegy. and her sister companion a good war ofc, but mostly elegy
even if we didn’t use outside sources which blizzard always prioritized as far as what is and is not canon
why would assassins announce their presence, travel in packs or stick around after the fact?
assasins don’t travel in packs like that, the banshee spready them thing (packs of 2) specifically for the reason that the war of thorns quests on alli side present…a mass extermination of one of the most potent weapons in a war
What chu’ talkin’ bout? Half the faction is already blood elf…
good news, our goblin and gnome brethren have devleoped wonderous teqniques to change you into a whole new being
all we have to do is break a few bones, rearrange your organs, drain a few pints of blood, skin and reapply a new skin to you and wallah
you’ll feel like a whole new person after 3-8 months of constant pain and agony
but that’s a small price to pay.
you are expected in orgrimmar at 11:30am 10/21/19, bring your official horde ID card and form 1096 filled and ready to be filed.
you have your orders soldier. failure to comply will result in accidents happening
would you rather be a vulpera or an elf? we need to prepare asap
That story was so bad. Any time a WoW story refers to a character by a playable class instead of a job title it just sucks me right out of it.
Killed his son/did us all a big favor, anyone that has been through the worgen starting zone more than once was probably very happy to be done with that guys speeches.
Guy was right up there with Rhonin (in pre-legion dalaran) for most soul sucking npc drivel.
The idea of having that guy running around BFA warfronts giving long contrite speeches that are typically malformed historical quotes gives me nightmares.
I was already an elf, once. Thankfully the magic dodads expired after a while because having to run and fend off all the ravenous women was exhausting.
oh, magic is no longer used.
it really is merely destroying your body and recreating it now
why use magic when you can use a bone saw, and an old skinning knife that a druid forgot was in his bags?
there are side effects, but until the goblin decides otherwise you are in your designated role for life
lol the title + name is cool, i didn’t catch that the first time like a training dummy trying to kill that annoying guy hitting me for hours
There is no way to navigate that terrain that wouldn’t be directly making the Horde playerbase feel like garbage.
I know people will make arguments about feeling bad about decisions made for the alliance but those are subjective and indirect. What you are talking about doing is something that is specifically done as punishment towards roughly half of the players of the game, whether that is in game mechanic or lore.
How ? Ashenvale was (lore wise) a full alliance / night elf zone after MoP, and Azshara became a full horde zone.
And? That has nothing to do with what I am talking about. These story decisions were not done as a direct punishment towards Alliance. While what you are talking about might have some semblance of realism, it does not work well in a game narrative when you are designing games for an artificially split playerbase.
Oh boy, I can’t wait until Tyrande gets the same “morally lol gray” treatment Sylvie received. Gonna be fun killing yet another racial leader that goes crazy on the next Siege of Whatever raid.
Now, I will say I did not like this quest Alliance side. Horde side I had to the choice to kill or set free. I am a carebear so I set people free but Alliance side there was no choice. You just put undeads to sleep, I would have like to kill them.
you act like it’s not fun to have a story that just cycles around killing key faction leaders every expansion!
we’ve still got 203 left, when we finally kill thrall for turning into a bad guy they’ll come up with something better to drive the faction war
I mean as long as Tyrande doesn’t start killing masses of innocents she is completely right and everything she can possibly do will be justified.
I’d love for her to kill every single horde soldier in Darkshore and Ashenvale and maybe also take some more zones since the horde did so too even though they promised not to.
Which isn’t morally grey, again it would be seen as justified entirely. No No, alliance need to do something way more extreme then fighting some soldiers.
If you give the Alliance a full zone and take a zone away from the Horde that’s a two zone swing to the Alliance. The reason the Horde conquered so much territory in Cata that they’ve since kept was because the Alliance had a ridiculous unbalance as far as how many questing zones they had.
Horde players don’t deserve to have legitimate gameplay penalties to sooth night elf fanpeople.
So did you have any legitimate gameplay penalties in MoP, WoD or Legion when the zone was fully Night Elf controlled?
As a Horde player I do agree that Tyrande didn’t get her revenge, but we all know that Blizz loves the “Revenge corrupts youuuu” trope since it worked quite well for Arthas’ storyline.
I would bet a nice pile of gold that Tyrande is either going batguano crazy soon and start doing terrorist-level nonsense against the Horde or simply gets forgotten by Blizz when next expansion rolls out.
-edit-
I also agree that Horde should punished in some way, shape or form. The traitors who costed us the war gotta see the price of their stupidity.
As far as I’m aware it was never confirmed whether the Horde actually completely left Ashenvale. They said they would at some point in the future, but the topic was never covered and WSG is still a thing.
