The Horde Is Better Without Blood Elves

Especially if there’s quest credit for it.

To be fair, Quel’Thalas and Ironforge were not on good terms after.

Probably not according to Quel’Thalas law. The Dwarf and Night Elves were guilty of spying.

Not according to Chronicle: Volume III, Page 150:

The blood elves needed allies, and they would not find them among the humans, dwarves, gnomes, or night elves. Kael'thas's decision to join Lady Vashj and Illidan has soured relations between Quel'Thalas and the Alliance.

No. Lor’themar did betray Kael’thas.

Yes, Kael’thas bestowed Lor’themar with the Regent-Lord title. But you don’t send the people under your command to Outland to murder your Prince, and say that you aren’t betraying him. Come on.

Trying to figure out how the Alliance could even have known that Kael’thas had befriended Illidan in Outland?

Secondly, fake news? 100% illogical for the Alliance to be upset about that at all, anyways.

Illidan left on good terms with Tyrande and Malfurion.
The Naga were a known villainous threat amongst the Alliance, but this could easily be overlooked if Illidan, Kael’thas, and Akama had befriended Vashj’s group.
Akama and the Ashtongue were there, blatant friends of the Alliance, and members of the same race as the Alliance’s newest faction.
And Kael’thas was there. Which everyone in the Alliance was friendly with.
I suppose you could argue that Kargath and his Orcs were apart of the Illidari, and they were openly hostile to the people of Honor Hold. But…? Not enough reason whatsoever for the Alliance to completely shut their doors to their long, long term allies in Quel’thalas.
This is grasping at straws at best.

Again, know your lore. The ones who went to Outland were going because Kael’thas told his people he’d found a knew world, a new ‘paradise’ where they wouldn’t have to worry about the loss of the Sunwell and the addiction they were suffering withdrawl from. Until Kael’thas returned and took up residence in the Magisters Terrace and was plotting to bring Kil’jaden through the Sunwell, most had no clue what was really going on in Outland or that he’d gone coo coo for coco puffs out there. Do you ever actually read lore? Or do you just pull this nonsense out of your backside? If you go to Thrallmar you will see them ‘Blood Elf Pilgrims’. They are getting some grand speech from one of his lackeys telling them how great life will be there. Lor’themar didn’t send them there, they went on the lies and promises of the prince. Until he showed his true colors, most of Quel’thalas actually believed their prince had their best interests at heart and not that he was off his rocker and actually setting them up to be Legion lackeys.

Okay after reading this I realize…you really don’t have a clue.

Please tell me why the Horde assassinated Kael’thas in Tempest Keep then, if they were planning on joining their beloved Prince?

wasn’t that a tv ad of 3 blood elves fighting that orc

Have you even done Outland questing? I mean it was Horde and Alliance who went to Tempest Keep. By that time Kael’s mustache twirling was obvious to any blind man if you did the questing. And they weren’t sent by Lor’themar. You were mostly working with either Scryers or the Draenei faction.

Chronicle: Volume III, Page 156-157:

In Shattrath, they had learned about Kael'thas Sunstrider's fate. It was worse than they'd expected. News had spread that their prince had pledged himself to the Burning Legion.

Some blood elves did not believe these stories. At least, not at first. When they ventured to the Netherstorm, they saw the truth with their own eyes. Kael’thas had embraced fel magic and become the Legion’s pawn. He was their prince no more.

Word of this discovery reached Lor’themar Theron and the other ranking elves in Quel’Thalas. The news broke their hearts

Amusingly, the Alliance knew about this before even going to Outland:

    Servant,

Several years worth of planning has been lost. The draenei and their pitiful leader have escaped the Master’s grasp once again! What’s more, they have stolen MY vessel and crashed it upon Azeroth!

While it is true that the Master’s eredar agent has failed, she was able to transmit the Exodar’s location to us. Fortuitously, her identity is still a mystery to the draenei. We may still be able to user her for our purposes.

Contact our spy and prepare for a full scale assault upon the draenei. Kill them all and recover my vessel. You are the only link I have on Azeroth that is able to repair the damage the brutes inflicted upon the Exodar.

Do not fail me, gnome. Should your lust for riches interfere with my orders, you will spend eternity in prayer. You’ll pray for death to come and release you from the tortures I’ll unleash should you falter.

    -King Sunstrider

Ooops, someone found actual lore! Jawah won’t like that, it will require extra flexibility for those mental gymnastics to prove its wrong!

The first part only confirms that Lor’themar and his Blood Elven followers betrayed Kael’thas. Though this is already common knowledge.

However, that second part is a very nice find and I applaud you for that.

Even still though, the Alliance did not assault Tempest Keep, and never fought Kael’thas. Not even in the Magister’s Terrace either.

The Alliance did lead the assault on the Sunwell, however. Though, this could be simply argued that they were assaulting the Burning Legion directly, and Kael’thas’ Blood Elves were unfortunate necessary casualties, to prevent Kil’jaeden from entering the world.

It also confirms that the Blood Elves did not go to Outland to want to kill Kael’thias. Though this is already common knowledge.

But they still went to Outland and killed him. Not sure what you’re not getting about that.

Assuming for a moment that you’re right and that Lorthemar did “betray” Quel’thalas by choosing to fight against Kael’thas, I don’t think any of the Quel’thalas citizenry really gives a crap.

I mean, if they did at one point it was likely before Kael’thas aided the Burning Legion in their assault on the Sunwell, but afterward, nah. They all seem pretty content with the way things are going now.

So, in the end, this “Lorthemar Betrayed Kael’thas” argument is completely moot. Bottom line is that he’s acted on the best interest of the belves ever since BC. You just don’t like said decisions because they’re not beneficial to Alliance agendas.

Kael’thas spent the last years of his life trying to find salvation for his people. Answers to their addiction, a home, protection, etc. And for his sacrifices, his struggles, and his work, he was murdered for it by the very people he was trying to save.

Which had nothing to do with Lor’themar and his staff becoming the government of Quel’Thalas.

Chronicle: Volume III, Page 90:

The prince appointed a seasoned ranger named Lor'themar Theron to serve as regent lord in Quel'Thalas and watch over the rest of the blood elves in his stead.

Meaning playable Blood Elves do represent Quel’Thalas.

So, once again, your two other threads were not truthful, and you didn’t have a solid argument.

Did that include or not include selling out to the Legion?

I mean, Elisande thought she was doing the right thing for Suramar by making deals with Gul’dan, and she had the benefit of time magic to look into the future, finding “all” possible outcomes.

I guess that makes Thalyssra a traitor too by your logic.

The incapability to see past the black and white argument of “Kael’thas is Prince by birth. Being evil does not matter. You belong to him if you are a High/Blood Elf.” is a big problem. We know that Kael’thas was a villain to be replaced. We know he betrayed his people for power. We know that Lor’themar is in every way that matters worthy of being King – and also more worthy than Kael’thas ever was or ever could be.

But Jawah can’t see past Kael’thas owning people due to his birth.

Nevermind the issue of Jawah seeing the Blood Elves as objects which Kael’thas owns.
