Imagine playing the sixth shade of elf in the same RPG.
Not trying to denigrate or make fun, just pointing out opinions. Sorry if I was coming off that way. If people like playing human pallies, more power to them.
Your ability to generalize is without peer and your contempt is unlike any I’ve ever seen.
Just the same, what argument is there to make? There is no argument that was initially made saying ‘it feels good to encounter Horde that isn’t a Blood Elf’. Then he followed it up with ‘how WoW has fallen so low to have Blood Elves on the horde’ which is patently false, given who brought them into the fold, who’s grudges dictates whom they align with and who they fight with (Garithos being a high enough entity on the foodchain is plausible that he made an enemy of the kingdom of Silvermoon and burned political bridges.) , what they’ve done since their time in the Horde and how they’re expressed.
They’re of an opulent society and aren’t as rough-run as the other Horde races, that’s essentially their only distinction. Them and the Forsaken not being primitive entities aesthetic/culturally wise while apart of the Horde. They’re fine where they are in the story, and it needs no changing.
Don’t be prickly to other people about an opinion piece and treat it as some stupid tribal thing.
Ah no, I just more meant that in general, it’s all good.
HMPs are joked about for the same reasons why most pro Sylvanas posters are blood elves.
Human male paladins are the most oppressed minority group. They’re more oppressed than gamers.
But why male humans?
the writer apologized on twitter for that mistake
I wouldn’t call it an apology, but he did admit his mistake, yes:

Doesn’t change what I said, though. He and whoever at Blizzard it was that approved the manuscripts forgot that ever happened.
It was never an important factor for Lor’themar deciding to get his people into the Horde, as well.
Same reason why most Garrosh supporters are Orc men.
Actually I play all six shades, along with orcs, dwarves, gnomes and even some troll for flavor.
I just like the lore and being like a fairy tale hero.
It’s a running joke on the forums.
nothing more, nothing less.
I guess it points that every alliance player wants to be the knight in the shining armor
The forums are better without human male paladins.
And that’s where Blizzards Lore integrity ended.
Yep.
Being the sole ruler does not mean he’s a tyrant. Bonus points because he’s not the sole ruler, just the most prominent one. Barring all that, I’m pretty sure his relationship with the Quel’thelas populace is an amicable one.
well, given in BC. The elves were living in a totalitarian government.
I believe much of that is runoff from Kael’thas’s reign, and hasn’t quite been updated.
Boo.
Hoo.
