The Horde & Forsaken Deserve Better Than A Sylvanas Redemption Arch

Yes, there’s a whole council of mages that they’ve done nothing with since vanilla. Gunthar Arcanus, etc.

Faol has never been affiliated with the Horde.

Some players want her, some don’t. Keep in mind the rule of customer service…for every 1 unhappy customer, you will know about that unhappy customer. For every 10 happy customers, you will only hear about 1. People happy with story and content tend to be more quiet and it creates an odd effect of things seeming more off than they really are.

The only people I’ve ever seen happy with the Calia situation are Alliance players who think the Horde playerbase needs to be punished for something.

There are ample Horde who like her.

I’ve never met one, nor seen any post on the forums.

I’m one of many - nice to meet you. I also like Sylvanas, and am 100000% down with her war crime story.

Might be fun if they brought someone famous back to Undeath and made them leader. I mean, all you need is mortal remains (ie a body of some sort, even skeletal). So who that’s dead and could be raised would be an interesting replacement?

Can… can we stop with this? And have an ACTUAL FORSAKEN CHARACTER in charge?

Otherwise, let’s just put Rexxar on the throne of Stormwind while we’re at it.

Maybe, but people really hated Garrosh when he was in charge but in retrospect he was by far the best leader the Horde has ever had.

Thrall wanted everything to be sunshine and rainbows with the Alliance.
Vol’Jin was far too laid back and a do nothing type of leader.
Sylvy was a pure trainwreck as a leader, for now obvious reasons.
Garrosh wanted full on Horde domination of the world, as any true orc would. He was a kick in your door and make you submit to the Horde type.

seems like these horde be like “why do horde keep getting the villain bat omg”

but also like “omg calia isnt an evil maniac so she doesnt belong on the horde”

Garrosh was the worst military commander in history, so… no.

TBF, it would be nice to have proper undead in charge. Calia should be been 100% undead, not this half light …thing.

Which is exactly what is needed to drive a story in a game about conflict.
You simply cannot have two peace mongering sides in a game based on conflict.
If you do, we have to resort to outside villains of ever increasing power.
And it leads to the mess we have now, fighting literal gods.

You need the worst military leader in history in order to have a story?

No, I don’t think you do.

Garrosh was a clown. They should have just gone all the way and put him in big shoes with a rubber nose.

That’s kind of my vibe with it. If someone could point me in lore where it says The Forsaken are tree huggers and not an inhumane bunch, I’ll gladly concede to any horde leader.

Tree-huggers, not necessarily. But they’re not necessarily monsters, either.

Log onto classic and do the Gunthar Arcanus quests. Start here:

Oh please, if you want a story about picking peacebloom in thunderbluff, or something to that affect, Hello Kitty is that -------> way.

This game was founded on the conflict between the Horde and Alliance, Garrosh was a great driver of that conflict.

I think we can have a story where the Horde actually has a competent leader instead of an idiot, is all.

From what I’ve seen it’s socially acceptable among the forsaken to be borderline insane. They do some rather ethically questionable things. Not all of them, but enough throughout the questlines.

They’re like Warlocks but not banned from their own society.

This completely. Only alliance playing horde want Calia. Also, no Voss who hates herself please. Commander Belmont or nothing.
