You asked for data to support Horde losing players, I pointed you towards an in-game mode with a balancing mechanic based on faction ratios.
I see, well if its true im sorry people are not enjoying the game.
Baine is the one who makes the idiotic remark about Warchief in a time of peace.
I assume that implies a time of peace between the two factions. Not neccesarily that all wars have ceased.
Which again is true. Without the faction conflict(and the warchief has been nothing if not an additional aggrevance to it) the warchief isnt needed considering the Horde is thus far managing to deal with the threats to it by working with the Alliance.
Warchief only being needed for wars specifically with the Alliance doesn’t pass the “say it out loud” test. It dumb. Big dumb.
ever since the council the horde has dealt with threats by sending non named npcs and making sure no named characters appear for longer than 5 minutes
I think its more like the Horde has not needed a warchief in a long time and the post has been a bigger cause of problems, especially in dealing with world ending threats, then a benefit to it.
Like without Garrosh around we could have collectively dealt with Deathwing sooner or without the Fourth War we could have all focused on rebuilding so that by the time N’zoth did rise up he would be that quicker to defeat.
Laat I checked nearly every Horde leader was there to defend Amirdrassil and I didnt realize the Horde thought so lowly of people like Liadrin, Gazlowe or Thrall.
Given that the biggest Alliance fanboy on the planet is cheerleading the Horde Council, I’d say that’s pretty compelling evidence for how much of a disservice it is to Horde players.
I guess if you want the Horde to be villain batted again so we can have a fifth war we can have the warchief title back.
wow 5 minutes exactly
You make an excellent point and I need to takes notes on this. The problem I think started when they made accountable “one” of the Factions… not both.
I could be wrong but beyond WC3 Garrithos blunder has there been any recent Alliance story arc accountability? (I’m not counting Marran Trollbane because we don’t even know if this will spill over into game.)
Not trolling I think Zerde actually mention something worth looking into… I have played SWTOR and ESO factions and beyond the consequence provoke by the main characters, you truly never see or feel the brunt of said consequences unless YOU the players provoke them INTENTIONALLY, it’s part of the fun of playing or re-playing said stories choices. However since the WoW story is carried by a scripted narrative and we are just adventurers or soldiers we just along for the ride, we never stir it or am I wrong?
This is interesting I need to take a look at this more closely but any correction or additional information would be appreciated.
Baine had an entire questline in SL. Geyarah ended up as the star of the recent short story. Thrall was a big part of the Earthen reforging the storm rider. And clearly Gazlowe will be part of an entire patch dedicated to the goblins.
a 5 minute questline
Or we just go back to pre-depression Thrall.
Jaina was tossed in a hell dimension for her choices. Genn decided to change his mind/at least move on from what happened to his people due to the Forsaken. Tyrande has also had to move on from the hurt caused by the Horde.
Maybe the reason both factions are not held as accountable is because one of the factions has been the unmitigated cause of a greater degree of suffering to the other and said other faction has to actually move on from with while only getting a small fraction of justice.
Pre depression Thrall is the reason Garrosh became warchief. Not to mention pre depression Thrall looked the other way while his people invaded night elven lands.
I don’t care. Give me Thrall back as Warchief without the mopey sad sack routine.
Yes? What sort of question is this?
The question was retorical. It wasnt. Especially not with all the baggage it had left from Warcraft 3 and the added baggage of having the Forsaken join.
It literally had to change to become a more noble and less tyranical organization. And like it or not the Warchief is part of the symbol of that tyranny. Heck, its creation was Gul’dan way to manipulate the Horde.
Quick question, what has Blizzard, for all of WoW’s history always advertised the Horde as?
