The honour system made this game unplayable for levelers

Vanilla had 136 days before the honor system was added.

Classic had 80 days before the honor system was added.

Why did Vanilla levelers get 56 more days to reach max level?

Im on rattlegore as well and I felt the same about you alliance. Took us an hour to get our whole group into Mara but we made it. Got a few kill in ourselves. PvP happened on a PvP server and our server is one of the semi balanced servers. This is what PvP is and the way it should be. It makes life harder, but you get to throw it back. If i wanted the easy route I would’ve gone with a PvE server. Maybe some of you didn’t know what you were getting yourselves into, that i understand. But this is exactly what i signed up for, PvP

Fixed that for you.

You signed up for a pvp server. This is what you get, no sympathy from me.

I hit 60 this past weekend. My server is pretty well balanced. It was annoying but I knew about this when I started and my goal had been to try and hit 60 before phase 2 hit. I didn’t reach that goal, but I was close.

Level in dungeons. That’s the most effective way to not be camped. Group up with your team when heading there and coordinate your approach. BRD is excellent XP for some time and then you can move on to attunement stuff with LBRS and UBRS.

Winterspring wasn’t terrible for me besides this one rogue who was camping the yeti cave for all of Thursday and Friday evenings. Level 60, free action pots and an ice reflector. He was ready and had a plan. But farmed me past the point of diminishing returns so it was just annoying eventually.

I didn’t go to EPL - but WPL was a mess of getting rolled by groups of 5+ alliance rolling around killing people with horde questing for the most part. I’m sure a different story would be said on the other side - but I didn’t see anyone really running solo on the alliance side (which was smart).

Either way - I hit 60 from being level 50 at the start of last week so it can be done. You can’t do it on your own though you need a group.

and before you say this is how it was. no It wasn’t

That’s what most people do anyway to start getting their pre-BiS.

You want Blizzards fix? reroll on PVE

Don’t like that? then get used to it. People get way too bend out of shape about their own character dying a few times and say “I cant do anything” when you really can and just dungeon spam. Yeah you will get a killed a few times but once inside an instance you’re fine. Resetting is hardly a challenge once you are done. I do not get all the whining of these people that are so emotional they can’t play the game because their ego is knocked down a notch.

No it wasn’t like this. I’m hoping it will ease up after the PvPers see how little honor they get from killing the same people over and over again.

I joined the game late, so honor was released about the time I hit Hillsbrad. In this environment, the game would have been over for me unless I wanted to grind instances. But I mostly quested my way to 60 back in the day. Through Hillsbrad, through STV. It didn’t approach this level. The population cap is the issue.

Never said I wanted it. All I’m saying is we wanted classic with no changes. If you want changes, there’s a version of the game that has all the changes you’d ever want.

Of course I want people to play. It gives me people to play with, but if they’re going to destroy your game over their opinions, I’m sorry to say I’d rather they were somewhere they’d be happy.

Also, no. I’m not wrong. You chose a PvP server because “reasons” and when things predictably got tough, you started demanding changes. Why not just not play WoW classic? That way, you wouldn’t have to demand that an established game change itself to suit your liking?

The frustrating thing is that if you keep making noise, Blizzard will eventually listen and nerf literally everything so everybody could sing Kumbaya in the battlegrounds instead of infuriating people for having no gear and/or not knowing how to play. – another game ruined by whiners.

I am on Alliance. I’m also on a PvE server. Between the two of us, guess who is not experiencing these problems. Honestly, I was wondering why people weren’t getting continuously ganked on day-one and whining on the forums. I knew what was coming. The question is “why didn’t you?”

___ happened on a ___ server.

Alternatively: “I came here to gank lowbies but now 60s are ganking me not fair I quit.”

No it didn’t.
It just made it unplayable for pansy retail players who haven’t got the stones for real PvP.

What about the players on significantly imbalanced servers?

Let vengeance fuel you. I for one, will fight the good fight to 60. And once I do, I will repay in kind and farm the hell out of leveling zones just like Alliance is doing right now on my server.

Who could’ve seen this coming? Lol. Well everyone actually.

PVP rankings should’ve never been added until BGS were added.

In retail Vanilla, it took people a lot longer to hit 60 and even longer to put together guilds who were able to clear MC. It isn’t like that here on Classic. A bunch of players speed leveled to 60 in a few days and cleared MC within a weeks time. Heck running 4-5 Molten Cores weekly is pretty standard in med-high end guilds. In Vanilla most guilds usually had only 1 Molten core and some may have had 2 going.

So now you have a bunch of raid geared players trying to rank up and the only way to do it is by grouping up in gank squads to earn honor.

It’s a bad deal

Dungeon farming.
I’ve done maybe 20-30 quests on this guy, the rest has been dungeon grinding.
Which you should do anyways cause the gear/gold you get from questing (for the most part) is pure trash.

Fixed it for you.

I agree. While the game is playable, its definitely completely annoying at its current state, for either faction, on any PvP server.

The only real solution for this that will not have an effect on the overall game play and the vast majority of the community is for Blizzard to allow for paid server transfers. I played PvE in Vanilla and figured i’d try out a PvP server this time around. My mistake. No big deal. I’ll just patiently wait until I can xfer off. In the mean time, just try to make the best of it.

The game is playable. If you don’t pvp don’t play on a pvp server . It’s really as easy as that.
