If we accept the Ren’dorei as a compromise to High elves, Anties/Devs think we will be satisfied and quit asking for High Elves. Which proved to be untrue.

So in exchange for Alliance getting a Horde race, the Horde gets
A reskin of a Horde race?

Or we just want you to admit that it was a design compromise between Same as blood elf high elves and No, you don’t get high elves at all, and stop using the word compromise to describe getting exactly what you want.

Yah you don’t get to dictate language or rules on the matter, just present your side.

No, but the meaning of the word does.

Otherwise, I demand the compromise of removing void elves from the game and declaring the high elves as extinct to put this issue to bed.

Ok, fine then. Leper Gnomes as a playable race for the Horde.

well, antis were always against even sharing the models between factions, but that battle was lost. they were clearly a compromise. to quote ion ‘give something that felt like a blood elf to the alliance but with its own unique flavor’ :tipping_hand_woman:

Just don’t call it a compromise when you’re talking about getting exactly what you want and us getting jack squat.

In my opinion they Void elf was a BS compromise, you can say im wrong but thats how I feel, you cant dictate that.

That doesn’t really relate to what he’s saying.

I love the Void Elves and personally view them separate from the HE request all together :blue_heart: one can still request HE’s despite the inclusion of VE’s

Then quit trying to make rules & dictate whats said.

something wrong with human skin colors? listen i wanted just a standard elf. i got blue elves, purple elves, elves with tentacles, elves with children of the corn eyes haha. its really creative that they do this with our elves, but now the most creativity i’d like to see for our elves is the option to have either a caucasian, african or asian option. in a game where everything is odd, normal is new.

And this does doesn’t really relate to what I said.

It’s not a compromise any of us had in mind, but it was Blizzard taking the demands of both sides and trying to work around it. Like I said, a design compromise. Like say this was talking about a car, you’re asking for like a big 4 wheel drive things we’re asking for amazing fuel efficiency, technology can’t do both so it ends up smaller and less rugged and with decent fuel efficiency but nothing special. Neither of us are happy, but you couldn’t build a car the did both.

And really, I don’t care if you’re pushing for getting exactly what you want. Go for it, that’s your right and I don’t want to stop you from it. What I have a problem is labeling it as a compromise, because that frames it in a way where you’re just trying to be reasonable and we’re just not willing to budge. When the reality is we have already given up a lot of what we opposed and you’re asking for more, while at the same time making it look like we’re just denying your reasonable request as opposed to feeling like we’ve given enough and we don’t want to give more to you.
