you already have the option to play a standard elf. the blood elves are the generic high elf fantasy prevalent throughout fantasy. followers of the light, very strong magic users, legendary archers and hunters in the farstriders. your side begged and begged for access to it and got void elves
its what you wanted, but it was always going to have to be made distinct from blood elves(high elves). as for the elves to have different ethnicity options, it makes no sense lore wise but im not against it
we have one chance to get asian and african elves on alliance side, in the form of half elves, because asian and african skin/hair/faces are being added to humans. but if you insist the devs get rid of the high elves, there’s no way to argue for half elves because half elves require an elf parent. not just any elf either but the high elves of the alliance, which you are so keen on erasing from the game

as far as damage. yeah think it’s pretty much … i mean, think about it. imagine arguing for HALF elves and every time you say it, people told you to go play blood elves.

I thought this place was arguing for playable Alliance high elves, not Half Elves.
But I’m all for telling helfers that Blood Elves are there for them…with open arms even.
Warcraft has a very cartoony art style.
All one has to do is Just remember where Sin’dorei came from, Also remember there are those who chose not to follow/join them.

historically, helfers were interested in modified high elves, not modified blood elves. a modified high elf, would very easily be a half elf, particularly since all of the windrunner sisters hitched up with human mates, though one (sylvannas) has as yet, not had any half elf offspring mentioned. the alliance high elves have diluted bloodlines, per elisande’s speech and ion’s insistence that the high elves who didnt become blood elves were being assimilated by the cultures they were in, and in this case, alliance culture, particularly humans. an assimilated high elf on alliance is not half high elf and half dwarf but half high elf and half human, so far, anyway
