Besides, considering how much they over reacted to Blood Elven activities for surival, maintaining them on the Alliance after the inclusion of Void Elves would be a disservice to their story.
how problematic would it be? my blood elf orb…literally a blood elf copy on the alliance, didnt cause a single problem. i dont want a blood elf copy, i want a half elf or high elf, but you peeps want there to be so few to no high elves, there’d never be enough half elves for sure and not enough high elves either.
i’m still amazed in a two faction game, the game master would tell players who want an ally to be playable, that they should instead go play the enemy faction. it’s an rpg for gosh sakes.

i and many others, offered variables, variants, things to make them look different due to culture, but this was also ignored in favor of just demanding we be happy to be yet another race of blue tentacled people, who oddly enough, look just like blood elves when fully armored. you can’t possibly miss the level of doh involved, to hear people argue silhouette when it’s already been done and in a way we didnt even ask for. we were happy with the idea of a modified high elf, not a modified blood elf. we were happy with the idea of the modifications make them look like a different high elf - different idling stances, different animations, not identical blood elf stances and ilding stances.

That’s not what I asked.
but it answers the question. it wasnt a request for a copy of a blood elf. it was a request for a modified high elf. instead we got a modified blood elf with the same animations and silhouette as a blood elf. the devs already did it. you understand. we already have a blood elf copy on the alliance. its not what any of us wanted and we said so repeatedly before void elves were introduced.
Well, there are many people who are fans of the high elf story and enjoy it as well. If you don’t like the story, what does them being playable change? Just because they’re playable doesn’t mean you’ll see more of their story, just look at Void Elves.
They seem to get along since they walk around Stormwind together.

Players have expressed deep distaste for high elves on Alliance.

ohhhhh, thats a horse of a different color. so now we have to select allied races based on whether the other faction in a 2 faction game, approves of it.

i asked you to imagine the scenario changed around. none of you could. all you could think about is that we shouldnt get what we want, even if its modified enough to be different. and from the sounds of it, some of you dont want half elves either or any elves at all. maybe you could select my next char for me too

the question was a test of empathy. the fact i asked it doesnt mean i’m not selfish but i can imagine the shoe on your foot would not feel any better for you than it feels for me. i can imagine horde players being frustrated by not being able to play a race they’ve allied with since the beginning. i dont think you can imagine that for alliance, cause all you can think about is that i not get what i want.
