So what about being supposedly professional and courteous counters the fact that the meat of what he said is āPerson talking about hacking person who has been targeted by other people for mass flagging got unbanned and the person being targeted got banned?ā
I donāt care if he says it was a joke, thatās the most over used excuse for bad behavior out there.

What can I say, when thereās someone I know and like who is getting attacked I get defensive of them. Sorry if I donāt just buy the excuses of people who are doing the attacking for why itās not a big deal.

I would recommend before accusing someone of something make sure they are here to defend themselves, then we would all be be better off.

Iām not going to pretend that discord is a utopia of friendship and kindness when weāve seen what some people on there think is appropriate, after what some of us have witness there before we got banned just because everyone involved in that isnāt in the discussion at the moment.
I have no doubt that the vast majority of people on the discord are great, I know I like a lot of them. But it has allowed some bad behavior to take place. And someone has been doing the thing where he sings the exaggerated praises of the helf side one and implies horrible things of us. So I point out that not everyone has had a friendly response from the discord.

If Half Elves were a thing, would you like them to be:
- A separate allied/core eace (3 votes)
- Customization options for Humans (0.5 vote)
- Customization options for playable Alliance High Elves? (1.5 vote)
And which order of inclusion would you prefer (not what you think is most realistic or probable, but what you would like to see)?
And whatās your preference? Not taking into account what Blizzard would probably end up doing, just your very own personal preference.

- Half Elves instead of Helves (1 vote)

Itās not, if weāre being realistic. Itās publicly available and has literally hundreds of members, thereās bound to be a handful of bad apples. Thereās a ton of great people, but Iāve seen a handful of squabbles before over the past 2 years
This please. Half Elves are not entirely human nor entirely High Elf, if theyāre 50/50 then it cannot logically be given to the option that is supposed to be 100% human or elf
It could make sense for a High Elf allied race as something exclusive to the Alliance to help differentiate High Elves, but at that point Blizz may as well go for full Half Elves to justify them having a completely unique model

So am I. But, and Iām sure thereās some people against who fall into this category too, who seem to be taking this whole thing really personally. Iām against them being added, but itās just a game, the most it can do is push me to the point I quit (just as a last straw type deal). But some people have seemed to make this into a more serious thing and take opposition almost as an insult. And that tends to escalate things massively.
And because of nonsense like this.

In all honesty the majority of the antis still here are really only doing it to troll and get their drama fix because they are drama vampires.
While I will refrain from posting proof because no witch hunting on the forums they have openly admitted it in their own discord.
There are little to no people actually opposing high elves out of a legitimate reason.

Mmmm, you have a point. Perhaps they could be developed as a whole new feature: āInterracialā Races, whereby you simply choose two main core races and poof, you get to play a half orc half night elf xD

Withh the way current blizzard is that is definitely the stance they would take. While a lot of issues come from the execs at the top many are still because of the mindset of the current dev leadership.
They always choose the most basic path for everything. They never take the interesting paths for the story and they do the bare minimum of work required rather than going all out.
too much focus on gameplay (which is failing despite that) and not enough on the story elements.
I will say though the cinematic department having stepped up their game has been a boon for the story. We still need more outside of the cinematics and not just the big characters on the patch. The minor things. Update old areas to reflect the passing of time even if they are not strictly relevant to the story.
Many allied races that should be made also fall into this. I feel as though blizzard will make either mokānathal or ogres and say it covers both rather than have them both be separate playable races down the line

As cool as that could be, itās a tad unrealistic when racials are considered. Half Elves could stand on their own as theyāre one of the few half breeds thatāre known to exist, although Blizz could be cheeky and throw in a purple skin tone as representation of those thatāre Half Night Elves
Pair them with the other half breeds, the Mokānathal, and thereās the Horde equivelent of playable Ogres. Two iconic races that are throwbacks to the RTS days of warcraft that Iām sure would be huge successes if done properly

You donāt have to believe it. I am not here to convince anyone. I know the truth. The high elf community knows the truth.
You may be one of the few that legitimately donāt want playable high elves.

I like to think that the most trollish, radical people who are anti High Elf have either stopped frequenting these threads or have calmed down since the last 2 years
