Not a nice word.
What I call friends, the amount of times I could sit here and be offended at being called bud , or mate but do not.
what? girly is not a nice word? since when? eek the language police doth strike again. stop before the religious fanatics take over and make people eat fish on friday.
Itâs not a nice term at all. Not something that should be used for a friend.
Look it up if you donât believe me.

âwhatâs your name, girlie?â
⊠I eat fish on FridayâŠ
Thats different then what was said here
What Tarrok said was completely true.
I wouldnât worry about the HE discord has been nothing but full of the kindest people, sharing incredible artwork, and conversation. This is just negative speculation.
and do you also, avoid calling someone fool because you could be in danger of hellfire but its okay to say stupid, dumb, idiotic or dolt? haha
oh yes, this can get very specific . once language policing kicks in, nothing is safe. common sense goes whoosh outta window
Nah Iâm just playin.
I do eat fish on Fridays⊠But also most other days. Itâs part of my hubbyâs diet.
yeah i eat fish too. and the fish on fridays thing was never mandatory as far as i know, just a tradition. i was just getting the point that once we start letting people change our language, then comes all kinds of silliness, some of it delicious and good with fries and vinegar, and some not.
Iâm letting it go, utilizing the mute character option in preferences Blizzard provides, people know what it is.
In other news I saw a concept of a playable HE again in Farstrider attire and it made my heart drop!!
Farstriders is a Horde alligned organization.
That was probably just a blood elf.
Is it? Iâve seen it used by those with southern dialects, albeit sometimes used in a way to talk down to somebody. Doesnât seem intentionally harmful in the way he used it though
Iâm gay and Iâm going to be honest I use it all the time and this attempt to police my speech feels well⊠Iâm not gonna name it for the sake of the thread so I suggest we all move on.
EDIT: would I use inappropriate words no, the amount of times Iâve been offended at being called bud at the end of a condescending personal attack I canât even count
Like a couple days ago where I linked the incident in question and pointed Leinadh at the text in question where the person did exactly what I said and he dismissed it as nothing because the jerk on the discord (whoâs not in these forums) said he was just joking.
Leinadh got it right. And no, not a lie at all, itâs still up on our discord, and as I said I gave him the proof and he blew it off. So if you donât actually know what happened donât go yelling that I didnât see what I have seen.
I read the conversation its not what you described,
Looks like he came to your discord per request, explained why a person was removed and why another was demoted, which was nice of him because what goes on there isnt really any of your business, but he was professional and courteous unlike how you guys are describing what went on.
