In night of the dragon it was less pity and more of an empathic view. She even states she would have been a blood elf if she had not had her children or Rhonin. Such statements are not out of pity but understanding.
It changes again in Legion with her harder lines, and it changed again in Three sisters where its more âi think they can be redeemedâ.
Yeah, she has different writers but jeez, you think theyâd pick a singular character profile.

you gotta see my take on fae gnomes. ya know the cute new hairstyles the mechas got. well give the original gnomes, normal gnome hair colors (pink, blue, green, peach, etc) but with mecha hairstyles, stick some sprite darter hatchling wings on them, give them a dryad as a racial mount, that also works as their partner, and when they go to sit down, a mushroom appears under their bums, so they are sitting on a mushroom with their fae wings flapping behind them. got that image?
k now, give them a whole new class: faery magic. it kinda messes with druid, so it has to learn more into fae type stuff. for example a spell called brownies! waves of brownies rush at the target in the form of a dot. if youâve ever done pet battles, its something like the stampede thing but with tiny brownie sprites.

It changed first in WotLK proper, when the idea of actually allowing the BEâs on Dalaran proper wa a no no, again, giving a limit to her empathy. Then of course Theramoreâs destruction and Rhoninâs death sent her on a path of revenge.
That she has come back to thinking they can be redeemed show she has healed.
I find the whole idea that she is inconsistent to be an exaggeration, to be frank.
