The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

Fur the Horde!

citation needed? well there is no link to an article or a wiki page or a quote from an official spokesperson so I have no idea what you are asking for.

I can tell you however that just from our small discord community they would regain hundreds of subs and likely many more race changes.

As for the playerbase at large you can deny it all you want but void elves are living proof that high elves would be popular.

I believe you said it yourself.

Well if you simply dismiss what I say as not evidence then all I can say is you don’t seek evidence at all but instead only want anything that supports your agenda. Anything that doesn’t doesn’t exist in your head.

While Ion is lead dev we will never get them

Need to get Ion replaced with a lead dev who isn’t so biased

Not even that he’s biased that’s the problem, he can be biased all he wants, he’s entitled to his favorite side, just like everyone.

It’s a when he intentionally/unintentionally ignores his own games world-lore, that it becomes a problem. He can say “Blood Elves are High Elves”, and he’d be right, but the small nuance he never got was that people we’re never referring to Horde Blood Elves when they asked for High Elves, to him it’s all just “Okay, but Lok’tar O’gar”.

It’s what happens when you’re trying to make your quick cash grab (Void Elves), popular and relevant so you give non-answers to longtime player requests that clash with your badly conceived idea.

hehe. dunno why but that tickled me.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Lol

Which is related to your previous assertion about what people wish to race change to how?
You are trying to argue a theory without support and comparing it to outspoken thoughts.

Just mad I can steal your buffs.
I got a 440 wand today

Aw sweet, what’s your ilvl at? Can you feed my Alliance priest gear yet ya bum?

Just my opinion but Void Elves seems to be a knee jerk response by the Devs to try to make High Elf fans happy by putting the void elf in the Alliance, they felt quit confident that the Alliance Community would accept anything they came up with when it came to High Elf looking, They based their decision we wanted them for Looks, I think/ feel they made a mistake and showed how out of touch they are actually with the Alliance Community. Even in Ion’s Interview he smugly states, If you want to play Fair skinned, blue eyed, Majestic elves, then play Horde this proves where their thinking was at the time.

There may be some High Elf fans that want High elves for their looks, I and many others don’t, I don’t speak for the community I speak of my opinion and those who I associate with on the matter, We want The High Elves For the Long Lasting Lore/Story/Game Interaction that High Elves and Alliance share through out the History Of World Of Warcraft, High Elves were In the Alliance At the beginning, High Elves Have Been In the Alliance during the 15 years World Of Warcraft has been around and they are still in the Alliance.

High Elves and the Alliance Built a stronghold in the Terokka Forest still manned to this day, in Outlands, High Elves manned a Keep and Trained Alliance Troops even built a Arcane Sanctum there in the Keep they helped man during battle while the Lich King plagued the world. High Elves and Alliance Both Died Together at Theramore as the Horde tried to exterminate them, To this day there are High Elves Living within Alliance Territories & live with Alliance citizens In Harmony, High elves to this day train Alliance mages and hold Portals open for the Alliance through out the realm, The day of denial is done, High Elves are Alliance quit the denial Complete the Lore, make The High Elves Already in the game that have always been but kept out reach of the Alliance Playable for Alliance. Admit your mistake we didn’t want them for their looks we wanted them for the Lore we share with them.

Thank you for taking the time to read all.

I didn’t say anything about people race changing. Not even once. :man_shrugging:

The statement I made supports itself – it absolutely stands to reason that fans of Night Elves would be more interested in, and therefore more likely to indulge in, content that is peripherally related to Night Elves.

You’re basically feigning shock that Telemundo does better in Spanish-speaking countries than it does in Norwegian-speaking countries. :man_shrugging:

It is always easy to tell someone that, isn’t it?

While you’re right that it’s likely a logically sound theory, he’s also got a point. Everyone I know says they love Nightborne but hate the new model for them.

The old model much more accurately reflected the fact they’re essentially the midway point between blood elves and night elves.

It’s a point, but it’s hardly convincing enough to explain why Nightborne are half as popular as Void Elves – because, as I said above, people who enjoy the aesthetic of something continue to play it regardless of how polished the model is (i.e. Worgen, Goblin).
