Wait, you arenāt still upset that Gromās dead?!
Is that what this issue means to you?
Your wording was just bad.
No other group is being introduced thats being asked for? I doint see people askin for Horde Gnomes, Nor Horde Draenei.
If youāre trying to make some kind of point to the effect that playable helves would be bad for the game, then you really missed the mark. Whatās bad for the game are broken classes, a story that continually villain-bats one faction and wrecks the other, and people upstairs who spout lines like, āYou think you do, but you donāt.ā
A race people donāt have to play? Donāt see how that can be bad for the game. Players typically like having more options, not fewer.
Youāre right. I think we both agree that High Elves have the potential to add a pretty cool story of unification and faction pride to the Alliance, though
High Elves make for a pretty good blank canvas as far as their story is concerned
It means destroying the bedrock this game is built on. Yes.
N-no, donāt bring it up. Itās too painful.
Not exactly, they would have been coolā¦but i think that time has past
Have more options, have loads! Just lay off our races. And yes you got the kist. its bad for the game.
Thereās a little loophole there, though.
The Alliance the High elves were officially part of was the Alliance of Lordaeron and they only joined it during the second war and left it as soon as they had the chance. Other than that they were friendly with Arathi and with dwarves.
The current Alliance not only is not the same as the Alliance of Lordaeron, but also didnāt have them officially joining, just kind of being dropped there or being associated to it thanks to Dalaran.
So, I donāt know if saying that the High elves have been longer with the Alliance than Blood elves have been with the Horde is entirely accurate.
Iāve seen Eredar or Manāari for Horde requested. But never to the extent Iāve seen High Elves requested.
I seeā¦ My mistake
Is your laughter because you donāt understand the basic fundamentals of Horde vs Alliance? Or did you hit your funny bone?
It just reminds me of no-flying. Ion stubbornly comes up with his idea and pushes it onto the community, forming distinct pro and con sides.
After some time has passed, it is clearly costing the shareholders, and Ion is forced to flip-flop. But not without a very spiteful addition of pathfinder.
Now High Elves/Void Elves was his choice, a choice that has been backfiring since it happened. Once again, he refuses to admit he was wrong and stubbornly sticks to his course of action.
In light of his poor treatment of paying customers, maybe it is time for Muffinus or someone else to take his place.
Bedrock the game is built on? That ship sailed a while ago. It sailed in vanilla, when nelves were put into a faction they didnāt have any real business being in, and Forsaken were forced into the Horde. Thrall, of all people, was forced to accept a dreadlord into a position of authority in his Horde.
Then BC hit and there were Paladins and Elves in the Horde. That was the real last straw for the bedrock of the game. Assuming you meant faction identity.
Iād support Eredar for the Horde, Alterac humans too
Iāve seen it mentioned (mostly by helfers trying to offer something in return), Iāve never seen it requested.
Not even remotely comparable LOL. Not having High Elves is NOT costing the company anything. Noones quitting over Void Elves. Where in gods name did you get that idea.
