The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

Well when you got our toy, it really isn’t is it?

Oh buddy, we’re way past that point. But that just sounds like something you might have an issue with.

More of an analogy, but i think you get context, or nah?

Look around, more people agree then just my little old self.

My point still stands though. Player options have little to do with actual lore. If every DK can be someone who was risen as Arthas’ champion, why can’t I play as one of the High Elf Alliance loyalists?

It’s funny how people think they own a theme.

And whose alt are you my little green friend?

When in doubt, pretend the blood elves hadn’t left the Alliance when they joined the Horde.

A classic.

Yes, they’re called antis, and they’ve been around and make more compelling arguments than you.

While you’re at it take a look at all 2 mega-threads and this post and count the likes in the OP, and tell me how many supporters we have.

Here’s a hint, not everyone needs to post to support an idea.

Yes.
You see, there are costs to development.
If your cost>monetary gain, then it is not worth implementing. The implementation of high elves is not worth the cost and time of development.

Which would scare off even more customers given that the MMO market is saturated with F2P games with paywalls.

People without knowledge are the quickest to mock those who have it.

Maybe 50? Compared to the thousands who say “nay”?

but also says.

Cant make this stuff up.

Both of these statements are not true.

They are said to be “All but extinct” which means they aren’t a viable population, well, likely so. They are a rare sight, but sure as you have two eyes they aren’t rare in Dalaran.

Also both notions come from a 10 yo entry that keeps being contradicted with their ubiquitous appearances each expansion. So rare they keep showing up!

Well technically the remaining Alliance High Elves have been in the Alliance longer than the Blood Elves have been in the Horde

I don’t entirely agree with the argument, just thought I’d add it

They are game assets. Ofc they are gonna keep showing up.

I think its much the other way around. Helves would be ideal as development costs would be relatively low. All the assets exist. The model, a place to start (Dalaran), they even use voice files belves don’t use. All you really need to do is put in a quest to get them, and then some hairstyles and tattoos. At most, totems/druid forms if they have those classes.

And they’d pull in much more monetary gain than Kul Tirans, who have been added, or Mechagnomes, who are likely to be added.

It says it in Before the Storm. Helves are rare in Dalaran.

Because a subrace shouldnt be a reason to make people subscribe. You can play a high elf all you want, but if the Alliance storyline is garbage
why play? If the high end scene is lacking
why play?

Giving pretty elves to the Alliance does nothing but artificially pump up numbers to meet a checkline.

Blizz literally did this with Heroes of the Storm by giving duo game rewards with Overwatch to leech off their initial popularity.

And Quel’thalas has been a Horde faction for a longer stretch of the Warcraft series than an Alliance one.

Still being salty about that fact is like me getting upset about the fact that Grom’s dead.

And you believe the AR system which they’ve stated makes making races easier costs them more money than something as big as High Elves would net em? Sure bro.

To you. But again, it’s content, and it’s requested, it will make them money. As much as you don’t like the idea.

lol Would love to see that source.

You’re right, wish they would add dislikes again, but i guess only your side wants negativity in not letting others have something that doesn’t significantly affect you hu?

ANd im sure Coal and Oil companies pull in amazing numbers at the cost of burning down the planet. But hey monetary gain amrite?

Let me introduce you to context! So, lemme know why does this apply more for high elves than any other faction/group.
