The High Elf Love Thread đŸ„°

We see them in one warfront, aboard the ship not participating in combat.

woo hoo 2 on an airship that dont even put boots on the ground! alliance high elf army confirmed

is this the part we refer back to the elves raising children in dalaran or a few living in a hut are alliance aligned?

Okay, but that literally doesn’t destroy the point at all. It just reiterates how you look at that character vs the other one. Different reasons, but the exact same path with the same result. How is vereesa unloyal or neutral but lorthemar isnt exactly? Its not like he was just going to even drop the horde. He was going to drop the horde to join the enemy.

Baine isn’t trucking with the hag and even defies her, but he hasnt left the horde or even hinted at it and hes apparently a traitor and all but an alliance character, same with saurfang, but somehow lorthemar has this magical jail free card?

Like I said. Double standards all the way.

Kirela: are a pumpkin and a traffic cone the same thing?

Kirela: they’re both orange, so yes!

Bourbon: if a traffic cone and a pumpkin are used to direct traffic do they not have the same job?

That wasnt the question. Are they the same thing?

Answer mine because clearly you and I are on two different pages.

I will start. No Bourbon of course they aren’t the same object

So let me use your logic for a second.

They are both essentially orange objects of sizeable variation
scrubbing away any sort of in-depth detail levels us with a simplified format.

So essentially based upon your logic, both of these are the same thing because both are varying sized orange objects. So feel free to make jack o’lanterns out of traffic cones
same thing really.

And even better Kirela. Using your own flawed logic, you have actually proven that high elves and blood elves are the same thing.

Want me to continue? If I scrub enough details like you, I can prove a lot of things are basically other non-related things.

lorthemar was being forced to reconsider old alliances, vereesa chose to join the horde. does that sound like the same thing?

I still hate how your side totes around Suramar as some major win for High Elves when it shows why the high elf storyline has been such gutter trash after Wrath.

So again tell me. How is vereesa all neutral and not loyal for considering joining the horde but lorthemar is even though he considered the exact same thing?

When she arrived at Suramar she was with Khadgar and the Kirin Tor - I clearly said outside of the influence of the Kirin Tor.

Dalaran also played a role during the legion expansion, which explains her presence there at all.

Because of the lore details you scrubbed away to simplify it to your liking, and how the buildup to the two events was handed much much differently.

Context matters. Details matter.

Without both, you are basically telling your cohorts that high elves and blood elves are the same thing. And I dont think thats a pro gamer move of you to do.

sweeps away the zero questing, zero world quests, the no raid appearance, and internal conflict of Vereesa in Suramar behind the cinematic screen

What details change it? Lorthemar was justified and Vereesa wasnt? Or what? What bloody point are you attempting to say I am glossing over here? What makes it okay for Lorthemar to say “ya know, I think I will leave the horde and join the alliance” but when vereesa says it shes a traitor?

Explain it already.

I’ve already said it multiple times why, you can scroll up.

Yes, but they’re still part of the battle and part of the alliance forces. Just because you don’t see them actively attack anything doesn’t mean they didn’t partake in the battle.

No you really haven’t. Your only point is that vereesa is a bad character and it was a bad story, but lorthemar’s isn’t and his wasn’t, but that’s just a critique not a reason.
