Not really, it just means it is inconsistent flagging for factions.
There are blood elf npcs that are friendly to alliance members in the ghostlands.
This does not mean that a blood elf would tolerate a night wlf in ghostlans territory. Gameplay is rarely perfectly representing the individual relationships
When its a story device and not anything that comes to pass? You betcha. Because saying “oh vereesa ALMOST went to be with her sister therefore shes neutral” is as silly as “the blood elves ALMOST went alliance because lorthemar was discussing it.”
And NPCs that visit the sunwell means high elves are neutral? Both are just as ridiculous.
Actually, there is no inconsistency. Every single Silver Covenant NPC is flagged as Alliance.
Is there some giant corkboard somewhere where you keep all this with pins and red string connecting all the points you see in things?
comparing an orange to oranges again. again blood elves can choose to ally with whoever they want. while vereesa is supposed to be fanfictioned as STAUNCHLY alliance aligned and that she HATES the horde. while if it wasnt for her children she would be ruling the forsaken with her sister
An NPC switching sides…
Does not involve players being forcefully switched from one side to the other.
It ain’t that difficult.
Only that a portion of them are neutral. Kind of a big deal with theire so few as it is and yet they can’t make up their mind about what to do regarding magic (SC and Highvale are completely different, and then the neutrals that hold the pilgrimages) or even who they follow.
Its like…you completely ignored my statement and your statement.
That is inconsistency.

It is clearly inconsistency and not accurately reflecting of lore.
Gameplay rarepy represents individual relationships betwween races and factions because doing such a thing creates exploits.
So looking at flagging is a stupid idea.
Furthermore, I am very sure if I cared to do I could probably find a friendly sc to horde. Flagging does not mean jack.
I like how every faction based interaction with the Silver Covenant, their description, cerent Xpac interactions, and Vereesa’s most recent lore shows they are 100% an Alliance faction. But people are stretching every bit of lore and interaction they can to try and pretend they are neutral.
Weird hill to die on.
And even if they where, it would be easy enough to recruit them as an Allied race.
actually everything we see implies they put dalaran and their homeland first and could not care less about the alliance and their faction war. maybe if dalaran gets involved with the next existential threat to azeroth vereesa can appear in the background with other kirin tor NPCs
She’ll eventually find Pepe Silvia… maybe… perhaps.
Okay. What does population have to do with anything regarding this topic? There are goblins who are “neutral” to the alliance. Im sure theres a list of races that have groups “neutral” to horde or alliance.
I think it kind of matters when you’re trying to paint every single High elf as furiously loyal to the Alliance when it’s clear that this is not the case.
And I think its pretty weak to try to use “neutral” NPCs or population to Ban other players from their request.

But using nameless NPCs as basis for the argument that “there’s so many of them loyal to the Alliance” somehow it’s valid.
You really don’t even try.
And saying “theres not even enough in existence to qualify as an allied race” is even more sad when you look at the allied races already in the game.
I was thinking more about the hostile high elf portal keepers, neutral forsaken ones and their relationship with the Rand Corporation and the Reverse-Vampires.
And some Core Races.
