You really think people acting that childishly are going to stop because of a thread? If anything it will make them cry more.
Some of them are nice.
Most of us dont even want to make threads about High Elves all the time. We just want one that we can encourage and discuss on. Locking or removing it makes it worse.
By allowing fans to spread and make the same threads.
There will be no end to posts being locked or deleted because eventually every topic on high/blood elves always ends up with people being rude to each other.
If one desires a place where only those who agree with them can be, why not discuss things on the discord?
It is clear that there is so much contention over the issue that the mods don’t desire it to be spread so much anymore. Why is there a need to be so…discontent over not having a topic?
I think the main reason they want to have a thread instead of discord is to show their support that there are fans out there within their official game forum and that they want the race. Which is not against the rule tbh

You know what I’ll do you one better I think you’ll find it amicable. In the original love thread there was a High Elf Discord, I have found it to be the most lovely, lore knowledgeable group of people. I believe antis are welcome but I’d check that thread for the details it was at the top, and I’d ask the question in there I’m sure they’d be happy to help you. And I hope you find the clarity you need on the subject 
They aren’t bud.
There are a number of helfers who were in the discord and were later on kicked and banned for being there. Several of which who never spoke in the discord but were recognized based on their name. There were other rather unsavory things which occurred, but the discord is not a place I desire to frequent.
I mean that’s their problem. but as far as High Elf discord community goes, we have several antis and as long as everyone respects opinion and don’t come aggressive and trolling, the antis were welcomed.
