The gap between M+ and Delves

Mythic raiders get hero gear from farming keys. M+ vault is myth track from the beginning, and you only take heroic pieces of they’re tier or bis raid trinkets / rare items. Even then with the catalyst and bonus tokens from last boss that’s become less and less a justifiable thing to do.

Delves are just not in our sightline.

“Dont do the content if you dont like it, oh wait, you only timed a +6 this season? You dont deserve to talk about the content.”

Meanwhile logs are bottoming out and people are leaving the game, both M+ enjoyers and haters for different reasons pertaining to S1 TWW M+.

Its crazy to me this community/dev team cant come up with a fix and instead would rather release more Classic versions in hopes of bleeding retail refugees to it.

I’ll let you have that convo with another CE guy that very much calls them forced for him.

I’m sorry you had tiny daggers.

Remember, it’s how you use them, not how big they are.

Snoz isn’t forced to do them and he’s said as much, he just says he thinks they over reward because he cares. That’s not a mythic raider thing, it’s a him thing.

Not sure why folks keep saying this, as I literally said in the first post:

This comment of yours is completely at odds with the point of the thread:

All I care about is folks to stop trying to nerf delve gear. That’s the point. Leave delve gear alone. And as for:

Yeah, because the gear is the argument. Delves are fun, for solo players. The only people bored with them are the higher geared folks that are overgearing them massively and whining because they don’t want to do them. Delvers are having fun doing delves. No need to discuss that point.

Since forever, the toons who were best at doing solo content were the ones doing group content. That’s stupid. Let’s not go back to that, please.

I actually used WoW made Easy a lot back in DF, because it made it easy to be in a PUG and have a positive experience. Wasn’t my only method, but it was handy in a pinch.

I entirely agree with you that he’s not forced and that nobody else is. That these kinds of complaints exist is just objectively true though.

It’s GD. Most complaints are about problems that don’t actually exist to the degree that people make them out to.

That’s fair, I just think attributing that to “Mythic raiders” somewhat misses the point.

And there it is.

I know some lower end ce guilds will require tier 8 delves for the first few weeks just for chances at hero track tier gear.

I did have one guild tell me mid November they require them still and I politely declined

The only people I’ll accept being forced into m+ would be the mythic raiders. Raid drops are unacceptably low so they really do need other content to be able to make the whole thing work.

For everyone else, m+ is optional. Seasons are around 6 months long. It took me 5 weeks to get my first character to 619 just from delves and raid pugs. At that point, I had the gear to do any sub-mythic content. No one is forced. If they are impatient, they are forcing themselves.

I didn’t attribute it to mythic raiders. I attributed it to people saying they need to run delves to keep their raid/mythic group spots. I simply used Snoz as an example since he conveniently popped up.

Nobody should feel forced in the aotc range of things to run delves. Nobody is forced in the CE range. So it’s one of those phantom problems that doesn’t actually matter.

Blizzard has to fluff their participation numbers somehow.

Idk why you’d ever require people farm vault slots doing delves for an ilvl they could just get from actual key drops.

Then again I think most mid to low CE guilds practices are unnecessary and end up doing more harm than good for both player quality and morale.

Then let’s buff delves to the point you can’t get hero track gear at 412 ilvl.

It was the chance of procing hero track tier for the first few weeks.

Not all of us are good enough to push tens week 1.

Ehh I could agree. I wasn’t able to keep up with guilded crest farm due to work so I was benched at one point.

Because it takes like 2 hours or less to guarantee yourself three heroic options at the end of the week?

Could run 8 keys and not get a drop at all if you have a bad streak of RNG. I agree with you but it’s just the guarantee vs the rng.
