The gap between M+ and Delves

Yeah, tons of spec love versatility, and there are a couple really good trinkets in there too.

or, you could. Increase the rewards from mythic instead of reducing the rewards from delves. I dunno why this has to be such a hard concept for people. and to stop the m7+ skip, you just, tie them to having to rank up mythic keys one at a time. That way theirs no guild incentive to force their guildies through delves they may want to do. Solves both problems with one move.

Yeah, look at the plethora of crests you will get starting today, from M+.

In 1 week you could get a month+ worth of crests you would get from Delves, doing the same amount of content.

Because the rate of rewards still doesn’t match. Not just the quality of it.

The rewards aren’t even unnaturally Vers heavy, each slot per armour type has like 3-4 different stat combos.

I like how people proclaim Blizz never listens to feedback and never reads the forums.

But then act like they are scared of a handful of people on the forums, their feedback. When it directly contradicts what Blizzard has stated.

People don’t like to talk about crest acquisition being a major factor in rewards. We must focus strictly on map drops and vaults otherwise delves don’t look very over rewarding.

Fine.

Only do delves and try to max out that gear with crests you get from delves.

isn’t the good gear in delvs locked behind keys and maps, as well as a trickle-rate of crest drops? and afaik, keys and maps are both a weekly restricted resource that are a chance drop?

If delve reward volume gets gutted, folks will just stop doing delves. That’s a quick way to destroy a new element of gaming opportunity.

Look forward to seeing all the crying in M+ in S2 if that happens, because so many more folks will just go there.

You don’t have to upgrade it to max.

If you increase the rewards for M+, then that leads to situations where failed keys drop more crests than cleared raid bosses, or if they touch loot, you wind up getting hero track gear from M0 to try to keep it in parity with current delve design. It’s not that M+ isn’t rewarding enough for its difficulty, it’s that delves are overrewarding compared to comperable difficulties of raids and dungeons.

It’s called a track record. A historical behavior pattern.

delves were literally introduced as an alternative for solo players to avoid raiding and mythic, weren’t they? That’s their entire function. And ontop of that, the interview with ion and the dev team said they were happy with delves and how they are right now, meaning that the stuff from raids and mythic are the ones they’re looking at buffing.

They have a track record of not listening to feedback on the forums.

What track record are you referring to?

Oh totally, and it’s gonna prove that the casuals are full of it yet again. They say they want a way to progress to really good reward, however slow it is, and when a mode fills that but is obviously way over rewarding, they complain it’s gonna be slow.

Delves are easier in difficulty and easier to get gear if you are not full 619 on all slots. If you are all 619+, Delves will not do much on you anymore. You have to migrate to harder content that drops better gear.

You always have an option to skip Delves if thats what you want but gearing up from Delves to 619 is the easiest path.

What key level would you guess is of comparable difficulty to a T8 delve?

its not the delve players complaining though, its the mythic+ players complaining.

It was incredibly faster to get to 619 with M+ than in delves even before the crest changes. Don’t even need to think about 626. 610-619 is like a few days of play if you go the M+ route for crests.
