The game isnt only for mythic raiders, their opinion isnt more valuable

That’s one thing we can agree one. He’s quite… prolific.

This is true that the vast majority will just look up and pick whatever is deemed best for their class/spec. This is why “meaningful choice” actually means nothing.

It means a lot. It means that Blizzard is finally going to cap player power at a finite level like the other MMO RPG’s.

Such antagonistic behavior towards certain section of players makes me feel that perhaps he just got quite a bad experience with those who raid seriously and now he is out to get them all.

That or just a master class troll who likes to poke the bear.

He’s trolling. I know.

But more importantly, he knows.

Huh? How does restricting choice for the player = capping player power?

Mods restore his each thread. Dude trolls without breaking rules

Before, players were never restricted by anything. Everything was just there. Restricting players to one choice is a cap.

Now if only Blizzard could turn us away from being all power-god characters that would be fantastic.

It’s like Blizz saying they want some player agency (whatever that means) but make it so you don’t really get to make choices.

Besides what does it matter to add things like customization to, say, character creation when they’re completely destroying classes/specs. I won’t play my character if my class/spec is horrible.

Folks. His another thread is up.

This doesn’t make sense at all. How is choosing the best covenant a cap?

Also there have always been ilvl restrictions, secondary stat break points, secondary stat diminishing returns, etc. There have always been restrictions in this game.

That Covenant ability is inflexible. It’s good in certain scenarios. Having all four removes that cap.

I think Ardalene is extremely confused and somehow thinks that we’ll be able to have multiple covenants if they make it easier to switch between covenants.

Yeah I guess so. Trying to follow his/her flawed logic is very confusing.

You’ll have access to all class abilities instead of just one. How hard is that to comprehend?

How does that make gameplay better? Instead of trying out a covenant in a raid, dungeon or arena, you just go to a 3rd party site and pick whatever they say is the best.

Except you wouldn’t bother trying out a covenant, you skip straight to IceVeins or your favorite streamer to make all the hard decisions for you.

It makes it better for me because I can think for myself.

People would definitely try them out. I have 4 paladins on the beta right now so I can try out all of the covenants in M+. It’s extremely fun and I can’t imagine having to make this choice with leveling being my only experience with the abilities.
