Like my speculating Elune is a First One because of the Varda similarities and the way Tolkien Valar touch on multiple “cosmic powers” Blizz has solidied. Or my speculating Bwonsamdi has or had a thing with the Winter Queen given Maman Briget Vooodoo Lwa beng rooted in Brigid Tuatha de Danann goddess ultimately.
Most people on the Story Forum like speculating over where they’ll take the known narrative, but to me that’s unfathomably boring usually because it’s usually the most predictable choice, e.g. Sylvanas burnign Teldrassil.
You missunderstood me. The grp “the first one” are together equal to illuvatar. The valar don’t created the world, the eternal flame did it. The eternal Flame illuvatars gave birth to everythings. The valar build on this world, but don’t created the world itself.
So, the Shadowlands and oribos (and maybe the maw) were build by the first one but ardenwaeld for example, Ardenwaeld itself was build by the winter queen inside the existing shadowlands
The problem is Revendreth was also made by Sire Denathrius’s hands. The only two zones left in question are Bastion and Maldraxxus due to lack of clear quest-text/quest-dialogue
Yes and I’m saying WoW isn’t going to go the Monotheistic Illuvatar One True Creator route, but rather imagine if there were multiple Illuvatars with the characteristics of the Valar’s distinct natures
So in WoW, the First Ones = Valar + Illuvitar, as supreme creators
I actually have a whole elaborate 99% speculation theory as always, came up with it for fun over lunch yesterday:
No, I don’t think the First Ones created the Shadowlands per se. I think the First Ones simply Are in a sense, the Shadowlands and the Dream came into being at the same time. Except the Jailer crossed a line and the First Ones came in and “fixed it”, jailing the Jailer.

He was just answering vaguely about the First Ones and Elune, like “Who made the Titans? Who made stuff? How do magnets work”. He literally said “How do magnets work?” as a list of speculative questions lol
Now certainly, perhaps the WoW universe magnets work by the divine and transcendent will of the First Ones SPECIFICALLY intervening in the act of magnetic pull, but I do not believe that is the case.
He also spoke of other Pantheons in the same response/train of thought, how the Titans are the Pantheon of Order, how the Eternals are the Pantheon of Death, how the Jailer is a Titan Plus Plus.
I do not think he meant it as “First Ones made the shadowlands” given the full quote.
Well, the story of the First Ones is one of those things that’s going to be unfolding over the course of the Shadowlands expansion, but if you walk around in Oribos, like you said, you see Brokers making some references, and some of the attendants there talk about them. You could think of them as being godlike figures that people know very little about, but they’ve had references to them, but you will find out more and more about them as we go further into the expansion.
So I don’t want to spoil too much right now, but I will say that they are tied into the other Pantheons we have seen before like the Titans, and going through the Shadowlands, you will meet the Pantheon of Death, which are the leaders of these Covenants: The Winter Queen, The Archon, those kinds of figures, and they certainly have knowledge on the First Ones, but what they have to share… we’ll just have to wait and see.

Which is still not what you’re implying.
I am confident you either misheard or are reading into a comment because your claim is pretty substancial for Everyone Else, from Wowhead to Content Creators to Lore Speculators, to have missed it.
