This was dated in the middle of Retail Mists, and this was before Deserter, but I think it’s worthwhile remembering. My GM and I should have done this together even presently in Cata Classic. Valor to CQ was a failboat ride, too slow.
The most important thing is that Classic Mists will still award you CQ for losing Arena, so it won’t be different than right now. For a guild like ours that doesn’t really care to git gud at Arena, this is the key to winning the gear race in the future. Grobbulus Horde, listen up. Valor to CQ wasn’t worth it.
Also, ONE HUNDRED GOLD PER WIN? Sheesh, that was serious money back then just for a few rating points. I can’t believe people paid that much for each win in 2013.
