Some of us don’t even get Paid Holidays lol
We’re sorry you’re losing 10 cents
Sometimes i wish i lived in america.
Other times i thank god i dont.
I dont think i could cope without it!
I actually look forward to every Tuesday because of posts like these.
After a whole week of RNG, I enjoy a moment of predictable guarantees.
Right? If you do the math, it isn’t even a lot of money that you lose for one day lol I could find that in a parking lot somewhere.
they are barely adding anything its just a weekly reset
Be thankful for what you get where you live. USA isn’t all that great. We do have some good things, but a lot more bad things, imho.
New tendie vendie
its happened on non tuesdays before and it didnt take 4 hours to put up
Yes because the maintenance to add the new tendie vendie stuff was done for a few hours the Tuesday before the month switch. Tuesday is the first day of the month so it happens to line up.
I am normally at work during this time, but i have covid so i am home for this week.
Thats fine and all but oceanic servers were able to get the new stuff before reset hit
($15.99) divided by (30 days) divided by (24 hours) = roughly $0.02
If we want to be really picky about how expensive it feels and calculate for just time that a person is “awake and available to play” (not sleeping, working, etc), then it maths out to about $0.06 per hour.
In theory, it could be considerably more if a person is somehow profiting off their time playing WoW (such as streaming, doing activities against the ToS, etc).
Cultural conditioning throws any reasoning or logic out the window though. Some folks want a free month’s worth of game-time for every brief moment of inconvenience they experience in relation to WoW’s playability.
Strange times we live in.
They’re preparing the slot machine, the vault don’t just restock itself
you pay for the combo
I’m on disability so it definitely cuts into my playing time lol.
yes, welcome to capitalism.
I do wonder what these extended maintenances are for…
Considering the game has never lagged more, or had as many technical glitches… at least for me.
I would be interested in what they are doing as of late…
In some part of Canada (I believe primarily the rural municipalities of Ontario), 4 day work weeks are being experimented with. So far the results have been favorable, even from a corporate and/or government perspective and so the movement is gaining traction.
I reeeeeeeeally hope it becomes a thing. I used to live in Europe (Germany) and loved all the holidays and long weekends there. Stuff still got done but people were happier.
What data shows <> what “leaders” will force populaces to do. Data showed WFH even during COVID had companies being more profitable than ever on top of lowering their expenses while also being a net savings to the majority and kept the roads cleared for those needing to travel and yet still you see “leaders” demonizing it and trying to twist arms to get office people back into offices to justify the land space and pump more money from their paychecks into buisnesses who profit on officer workers being forced out and about.
Data can and will show that 4 day work weeks lead to higher productivity levels by those during that time but I’ll all but guarantee we’re not going to see a societal shift because keeping the serfs struggling and toiling as many days a week means we serfs have less actual free time to pursue our own hobbies or life advancement pursuits…pursuits that may lead us to demanding better work and life balances and/or improving ourselves to better out stations in life (which works against those in power).
