The excuse for every race every Paladin is kinda lame

Keep in mind, even my lore reason might not appeal to some, it just takes the History of the Guard, combines it with the events going on now (the trying to restore Tyr) and makes it so they go from defenders of Tyr’s Tomb to his agents across Azeroth.

LOL this coming from the person who literally argues against account wide ignore on the forums.

I literally quoted that. ROFL what are you even arguing? Oh right… I forgot… you argue just to argue without making any logical sense.

Have a better day.

Off topic but I argue FOR account wide ignore. You just proved you don’t read, you don’t think, you just cherry-pick parts and make that the basis of your argument, and call anyone that does more and points out different views from doing more as trolls, idiots, or illogical.

Maybe that Blizzard can write their lore better? like:

Current view: New races of Paladin are defenders of Tyr’s Tomb
Vs.
My lore take: new races of paladin are Agents of Tyr spreading his code across Azeroth

Oh, I do make logical sense, to those who can read, think and comprehend whole posts instead of taking things out of context and ignoring parts of posts just so they can make themselves look smart.

How does guarding robot make your a paladin

My take does not have the guard protect him, but spread his ideals across azeroth as his agents. To put it another way, with Tyr’s return, the guard has to find a new purpose, especially since Tyr likely would not want them protecting him when others need it more.

Your head cannon does give it more sense my only complaint is that if we accept this as the reason of any Paladin any race.

They’ll also do this for druids and shamans giving them a weak excuse to share art assets across races.

Sad thing is, it is not uncommon for the head cannon of some to be better then the lore Blizzard makes

Here they have some issues already, as baring things like dinomancers (Zanda Troll Druids) and Tideages (KT shaman), all they really have to do is say “The Cenarians/Earthen Ring opened up training to all races”. When in all honesty, the races that have acess to those classes can teach others, like the Worgen or Kul Tirans can teach the humans their form of Druidism, Dwarves or Draenei can do the same with Shamanism.

Warlocks deal heavily with shadow, though.

Does not mean that some members of the Light are not above using the tools of the “enemy” against them.

Also, chaos isn’t the polar opposite of light, but they are enemies.

The great thing about the lore being a dumpster fire they can just ignore it and make up whatever they want to make gameplay better.

Chaos magic is all schools of magic.

Kind of an interesting place to draw the line.

:dracthyr_comfy_sip:

i drew my line long time ago, im just disappointed people already crossed it these days…

pink armor does not belong on a dk!

Does seem rather lazy but that’s the expectation for Blizzard.

Personally I’d have had different orders, ideologies, etc and have it under the label of Paladin. Like they share a name but they aren’t the same thing.

“Excuse”

We dont need reasons for these things. We need reasons as to why a race COULDN’T be a class. Maybe the majoroty of the race doesnt. But one person can.

Something something, we’re the paragons of our race, exemplifying their ideals.
It is a touch silly but I think that was the original idea at the time.

Say what now?

Thing is some still think that, since they are all under the “Paladin” (or x class) header, they are all the same.

All the race paladins currently in gamem that were all more or less forced into one order in Legion:
Humans/Dwarves-Knights of the Silver Hand
Draenei-Vindicators
Blood Elves-Blood Knighs
Tauren-Sunwalkers
Zandalari-Preletes

It does not help when, as we deal with NPCs, those that call out class out call all Paladins, well, Paladin not Sunwalker, not Vindicator, etc.

Oh nothing, I’m drunk on coffee and stupid.

I sort of meant that while they use the same abilities they do not view things the same.

I mean we can all agree that a Orc Warrior is not the same as a Human Warrior. As both races view the class under a different cultural lense.
