Is the quest to get the transmog from pre-purchasing supposed to be so grindy? I’ve played almost 5 hours since buying and I only have 10/40…

Otherwise, I imagine it’s supposed to be exactly as they designed it :wink:

I have tweeted them. But maybe it is a bug so that’s why i asked here as well.

I doubt it’s a bug, but if you think it might be, even potential bugs can be reported via the Bug Report forums. The QA team would then have a look and see if it’s working right.

If it’s not a bug, it’s gotta be the worst quest for a xmog tied to a premium priced expansion purchase.

yea its kinda like you paid $80 for a crate of fresh milk but you have to milk the cows yourself.

Feedback on this would likely be best in the Quests forum. The Devs don’t take feedback from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.

Find a group and farm fast respawn mobs like blood gate or cultists.
Took 5 of us about 1.5-2hrs

Also made a cheeky 15k off greens and greys

in canada we paid $109 for this grindfest…

does seem to be a time gate daily. first kill got me another 6. but no more are dropping. looks like about 4-6 per day for the easy collector. not terrible. at least its doable.

Most people are grouping at the Blood Gate, but no one knew until this morning, (I tested it myself), that farming these works for a custom-listed PvE raid group. It took my husband and I 5 hours to collect all 40, the drop rate is super low. However, Blizzard counters this by handing you 3-6 Echoes to start at the beginning of the quest, although we were all fooled when the drop rate significantly diminishes afterwards. You can grind it out during a full day, or, you can do this as a daily and collect your 3-6 Echoes over time.
