The epitome of bad customer service

25 thousand customers in a long line, just to maybe get online and get from level 70-72.

These people take your money and make sure it goes everywhere and anywhere EXCEPT back into wow classic.

So many people tripping over each other to hand 15$ to a company that says “we hate you” in a new way every single patch.

Ill admit I’m jealous wish I got paid tens of millions to treat my paying customers like trash.

If people gave you money to never change how poorly you do your job, why would you change?

im a little shocked. i thought enough players had quit. i wonder if all that are left is the most resilient addicts.

benediction is like if you ran all of the wow players through a filter. all that is left is the most dedicated, most jobless neets. its where are all the best and most dedicated to the game reside. its a crazy way to manage queues. just filter out all the most casual by getting them to

How? More specifically, how is it preventable now?

By adding more servers, more layers, upping the player cap per server. But they won’t They treat this exactly like Walmart does. All those unused checkouts. You build for the peak but you staff for the average day. So instead of the 15 servers we could have per hub, we get 8, 7 of which have queues.

Instead they should just start with 15-20 servers, then merge them (we know they can since it happened once already) based on actual player count instead of saying, oh the majority are gonna level to 80 and then quit so the first 2 weeks will be awful but we’ll save time and money in the long run by making the players suffer. and in 2 months no one will care.

Increase server capacity, actually hire people who can search out and ban bots, implement more crossrealm functionality so people on very small servers aren’t screwed. Use a distributed system so different layers can run on different hardware (which is probably what’s happening).

Or they can go back and undo all of the HILLARIOUSLY bad decisions they’ve been making since before day 1.

I’ll let other people correct how dumb this reply is.

This game is recreation not my job.

Spend the money fix the problem = happy customers.

Anything beyond that I demand compensation

Yeah I get that it sucks but I don’t know how people didn’t realize this was going to happen. Did anyone pay attention to prepatch just a month ago? Of course the queues are going to be insane.

People realize it’s going to happen AND they realize what’s going to happen in a couple months.

You mean that the playerbase is going to fall off and queues will not be a thing anymore? Or something else?

Ah another thread where OP just wants to be mad in public.

Yea. People don’t want to have to pay for transfers in a couple months because they’re left on a dead server.

I think it would be best if Blizz did their job and provided sufficient capacity, along with implementing a few cross realm services to prevent realms from completely dying.

They just closed a bunch of servers. Also, there are still servers that are able to accept more players. But nobody is transferring to them. So why open more servers if the current servers aren’t completely full yet? As for the other stuff, they’ve said they can’t do that. Could it be BS? Maybe, but I think they’d do something if they could. More people playing = more money, right?

This is probably the only thing that’s reasonable. But they did a huge ban wave on Benediction, and the server is locked so they couldn’t recreate the bots, and Bene still has a seven hour queue.

This is where what’s possible runs up against what the customers want. The Classic players want server communities to matter. People might actually be more upset about that than waiting in queue. Yes, that’s unreasonable, but it’s the truth.

Realistically, they can’t change the past. That’s why I said what can they do NOW.

Absolutely not. That is what killed socializing in the first place (so that blizz masquerades around saying rdf did it).
