The entitlment of elitists is crazy

While I hate to give people fuel they could throw at me…

If me and Ralph are wrong…you could always just end up linking this to us…although I rather you throw it at Ions twitter cause that’d be funny…

I love the hardcore.

I look at this the same way i look at class. 20% are super hardcore. 20% are super casual. We like one another. We dont travel in the same circles, we dont compete with one another, and we offer perspectives outside the scope of our respective bubbles. We teach them to chill out. They teach us to desire goals and achievement. Neither of us really listens, because its lala fantasy land. But we both enjoy dreaming of the possibilities.

But that aspiring middle class… the 60% of idiots out there trying to stomp on the faces of everyone else so they can dream a little… i dont trust them.

oh man if you think I won’t post you up on this then you got another thing coming haha

The internet has lost it’s magic. Much of the irl sweat culture has come into gaming, it is what it is.

Yeah, I kind of assumed it would be you lol.

Are you crazy?

in what realm of existence do you think a company would just attempt to delete a portion of its player base?

You do understand this is a company that wants to make money, why in the name of god would they attempt to remove people that pay to play?

People have been the way they are now since the dawn of pen-and-paper RPGs.

Is that so? Interesting. Buddies and I used to play CS Source like 10 years ago. All we did was custom game modes like surf_, xc_, zm_, etc etc, no ranked. Then League came out and soon after we hopped on comp and we all became a bunch of sweats after. OW comp only, no QP. :joy: Sad.

He’s seriously got to be this or connected in some way to Blizzard to be able to make the same thread multiple times a day and never get punished for it.

Or he’s just put up a highly effective shield by constantly talking about his sexuality and furry identity and there don’t want to punish that. I don’t know.

wahh

Show me on the doll where josh touched you.

You should get a life OP. Making 10 million posts trying to bait people into circular arguments serves no purpose

It’s quite unfortunate that over 90% of the time, DPS meters are used to brag or shame people. There are some good tools out there, too bad they’re used incorrectly. I never blame the tool for it. For example, a hammer is a good tool for driving nails. If I use a hammer to smash your toes, that’s my fault.

Yes but when tools are used by too large of a percent of people in a harmful or abusive way. They become banned. Happens all too often. Not here though =/ Blizzard is cool with tools being used in a abusive way.

Correct. Luckily, most people use hammers the right way.

If you ve also checked there’s also 10 million threads from tryhards pushing for blizzard to pander to them when Ion quite clearly said their way of playing is no longer welcome, you arent meant to be optimal at everything.

If you cant deal with that then you shouldnt be playing.

Shadowlands will more than likely be a success for the majority ebcause it ll keep a lot more casual rpg lovers after launch even if tryhards ragequit cuz they cant be optimal at raid boss 1, 2, 3 etc and m+ et

Yes, but you should hear about some of the ways people have used Hammers. I’ve known people that worked in the ER department and some of the stories I have heard would make you cringe lol.

Players adapt, that’s how it’s always been in this game. Your mistake is putting ion up on this pedestal, he was one of the “elitists” you seem to cry about 24/7.

It’s just sad seeing someone say ion said this omg it’s gotta be true!

I’ve seen Casino. I can only imagine…

Name calling is a sure way to be NOT taken seriously.

But they’ll still do it. This is what blows my tiny mind.

The competitive game is a ladder. If you wont do what’s necessary, i can absolutely guarantee that someone else will. And they’ll rightfully steal your spot. They did the hard work. They did the multiple grinds. They want your spot.

That’s precisely the game you signed up for. Suddenly pretending its all about skill and not time investment (gear, effects, loadout) plus skill… are you sure this is the game you want to be playing?

This whole debate (over the philosophy of wow) smacks of grandfathering and special pleading.
