I like all of the suggestions that are saying make WoE reduce damage by a large % because that does also fix the problem of ele shamans abusing WoE.
I keep seeing shaman mains say “we just die without WoE we need it”. Guys you do realize that’s literally every other class in the game. They all just die when more than 1 person look their direction, we are the outlier and it’s why there’s an issue. Either make everyone that tanky or no one, that simple.
Dear smallbrain.
-You cannot use double rockbiter and loyal beta in pvp because it shares a slot with decoy totem.
-You cannot use this combo in PVE because no tank can hold that agro.
The only issue with shamans is that rockbiter stacks, this is due to the nature of the ability. WoE is not the problem, the entire issue is that rockbiter stacks.
Easy solution;
Convert the AP from rockbiter to a dps buff on only the weapon it’s enchanted on.

No ones running double flametongue because that’s basically all it does, it adds fire proc dealing X DPS worth of damage.
Being tanky is fine, the tradeoff would be much lower damage naturally. (because without the AP no one would be running double rock, and running WoE is already a fairly hefty loss of maelstrom).
Shaman is vastly harder to play well in pvp than paladins, in general.
Shaman is better than paladin at the moment but that does not change the degree of difficutly.

You’re actually lying lmao. The only difficulty to shaman is remembering the key binds to your totems. AT MOST its the same difficulty as paladin.
Honestly I’ve been slowly leveling one for fun with a friend and the ap seems nuts.
I still have 1200 AP without alpha, double every other class in the game.
So many people are making shamans that half the servers are faction locked. Almost every server has an alliance bias but if they keep shamans this OP, not for long! haha
I tried to make a shaman today on my server with 52% alliance pop and I can’t due to “population imbalance.” What they really mean is shaman imbalance.

Paladin literally hits 2 dps buttons and tosses a bubble and freedom.
